Please notice two things before you book
1) Our apartment is on the 5th floor without elevator
2) A Metro station is being build outside at the moment. This means noise especially when you have the windows and doors open during the daytime.
The apartment is large and with lots of sunlight. It has 5 small balconies and one terrace. There are 3 rooms, a small, middle and a large. In addition, there is a room under the roof with half height with a double bed.
We have beds for 10 persons. I can also arrange for extra mattresses.
The apartment is suited for families with smaller children: we have a high chair (IKEA), a travel baby cot, toys etc. and there is not so much that children can destroy in the apartment. You are welcome to use the back yard. There are several playgrounds for children within 500 meters of the building.
The apartment is 3,3 km from Nørreport station. 15 minutes with bus 6a. The apartment is close to: local cafés, Nørrebrogade (street with shops), Fælledparken (large park), supermarkets, green grocery, and the train stations Bispebjerg and Nørrebro.
The apartment is situated on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. It is a no-smoking apartment, but you can smoke on the balconies. You cannot have pets in the building.
Parking is for free in the area.
A metro station is being build close to the apartment. The construction company is allowed to work there Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm. This means that there may be noise from 7am in the morning. Please also note that the construction company may be permitted to work during evenings, nights and weekends for some periods. This has not yet been decided, but there is talk about extended working hours from January to May 2014.
Regarding your arrival time we will talk about what can fit both for you and us. Often I will suggest you to come directly from the airport/ train station to get keys and leave your luggage. And if the apartment is not ready at that time, you can go to the city and come back later.
From the airport:
Take the Metro to Nørreport Station. Take bus no. 6a direction “Emprup Torv” and get off at Tagensvej/Haraldsgade – the bus stop is just in front of the building. It takes all together about 30-45 minutes.
From the train station
When you leave the Main Station ask your way to the street "Vesterbrogade" (a large street) and there you will find the 6a bus stop. Take bus 6a, direction "Emdrup Torv", and get of at "Tagensvej/Haraldsgade" - the apartment is just at the bus stop. It's about 15-20 minutes drive with the bus, as it drives through the city.
When you want to get back to the city you take 6a back and get off at "Nørreport station" or "Rådhuspladsen" (Town Hall Square).
In the Metro/S-Trains you cannot buy tickets, so here you always need to have a ticket or a discount card ((Danish= klippekort)) before you get on. You can buy train tickets and the discount card in the airport.
From the Airport to the city /my apartment you need 3-zones.
A 3-zones discount card costs 200 Danish kroner for 10 trips with the bus/Metro/s-trains. More people can share the discount card.
Be sure to buy a discount card (Danish= klippekort) before you get on the bus, as tickets always are twice the price.
You can buy the discount card at many places, e.g. train stations, airport, 7/Eleven, kiosks, petrol stations. To and form city/my apartment you just need 2-zones. A 2-zones discount card costs 150 Danish kroner for 10 trips with the bus/s-tog.

We had the most wonderful time in this beautiful penthouse apartment! It was the loveliest place to return to each evening, and was well-equipped for cooking at home and staying in when we felt like it. When we had a minor electrical issue Sabine was quick to help us out, stopping by within the hour with the building electrician to sort things out straight away. We all slept comfortably, had ample space to spread out, and enjoyed the lovely view down Tagensvej from all the balcony doors.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Copenhagen!
Great host and beautiful apartment !!! We had a perfect weekend on copenhagen :)
Thanks you to Sabrina and Edmond !! If you're looking for the perfect guests, available, friendly and welcoming : you have to choose this !
We were staying with 6 of my French friends in the apartment and we had a perfect time there. The apartment is amazing, well furnished, as you can expect from Danish people.
I definitely recommend it !
We were 4 people and each of us had a room for her/himself- it was so nice! Good location with good public transport connection. Excellent place to stay when visiting Copenhagen with a bunch of friends!
Thanks to Sidsel and Edmond for allowing us to stay in their apartment in Copenhagen. We were a group of 6 male adults over to watch world junior hockey. The apartment had plenty of sleeping accommodations for all of us and space enough for living together. The stairs were daunting at first but we got pretty good at going up and down them after awhile.
The apartment was conveniently located near many grocery stores and green grocers. Although we had our own vehicle, the bus stop is right at the bottom of the apartment complex.
There were no unpleasant surprises for us except the New Year's Eve fireworks show right outside our balconies. We were not expecting that!!!!! Very enjoyable visit.
We had a fantastic time and a lovely stay in Copenhagen largely in part to this gorgeous flat! We were there for the holidays and the place was so tastefully decorated and Sidsel even left out a basket of new and gorgeous decorations for us to use. The place is very spacious, bright and cozy. The bus stop in front is very practical as well. I heartily recommend this apt to others!!
What a great place! It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Sidsel had even left toys out for the kids to play with.
Sidsel was also very responsive to any questions I had. I would recommend this apartment.
The only thing worth noting is that while the bus 6a runs frequently into central Copenhagen, it was difficult for us to get on with a buggy/stroller - in the worst case we had to wait for 4 buses to pass by before there was space for us. If we had been traveling without stroller there was only one bus that had to turn people away. I obviously don't know whether this is normally the case, or just the case in the run up to Christmas.
We had an amazing time in Copenhagen and Edmond Flat is the perfect solution to visit CPH with a group of friends.
We traveled with a group of 8 friends and Edmond's flat is rightly sized for such a group.
A lovely, spacious and stylish apartment. Edmond and Sidsel's apartment accommodated 8 of us with no problems at all.
Highly recommend visiting CPH and staying here.
Great apartment with easy access to the city centre via the 6A bus.
The apartment is massive and the amenities are too a high standard.
All communications with Sidsel & Edmond were very efficient and they supplied us with a huge amount of information.
If you are a large party and want to stay in Copenhagen at a good price, then stay here.
