Our trip to Tuscany and stay at La Cassetta del telegrafo was perfect. Valeria was an amazing hostess and we appreciate all she did to make us feel welcome at the Losi family vineyards. We will always look back on our stay with fond memories and a desire to return someday.
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay in this charming home! Valeria was traveling while we were there, but her mother was able to show us around the house when we arrived. Valeria provided a detailed booklet with recommendations of things to do in the area. Prior to our arrival, she was also very helpful regarding any questions we had.
The Siena area was the highlight of our trip to Italy and we enjoyed visiting all of the other little towns in the region. We cooked a few of our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and we bought bread from the local bread maker that comes through in his truck in the mornings! It was truly a memorable experience and we would come back again in a heart beat.
We had a wonderful stay at La Casetta del Telegrafo! Though Valeria was traveling, she made sure we had everything we needed and her mother and father were superb hosts. The location was perfect, just a quick car ride to Siena and the apartment was very spacious.
Valeria was very thoughtful and left a homemade crostata for us, which was delicious! Her father took the time to tour us around the winery and the family produces some amazing wines.
Overall, we truly enjoyed the experience and we'd highly recommend staying at La Casetta del Telegrafo, especially if you enjoy beautiful views of the Chianti countryside.
Wonderful home in the middle of the countryside. Valeria wasn't here but helped us a great lot by phone and her dad is charming man. Moreover, the wine produced at Casetta del Telegrafo is excellent. Very close from Siena, this is defenitely a place to be!
Absolutely superb stay in Tuscany. This was a real highlight of our trip to Europe. A stunning location and a warm comfortable home. We were so welcomed by Valeria's family - our only regret is not staying longer. Wonderful!
Valeria was a wonderful hostess, providing a homemade pie and goodies upon our arrival. The space was comfortable with great character. We had a rental car but the convenient bus stop allowed us to go to Siena with no parking worries. Valeria suggested a festival at near by Villa A Sesta which we drove to and enjoyed very much. The countryside was beautiful. The Losi family wine tour was exceptional. There are wines and a price list in the house so you can drink what you want and pay before you leave. There is also a local person that will deliver bread each morning if you want. Our group of four very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
I do not even know where or how to begin ... had a very beautiful and enjoyable stay at Valeria ' s place.
The host Valeria is genuine, gracious and helpful.
The apartment is really beautiful. She has the best equiped kitchen that I had seen in my last 3 airbnb experience. Being in a small neighbourhood, we felt at home. The welcome cake and home made jam were delicious. My family of 4 totally enjoyed our stay.
Given another opportunity, we will come back. I highly recommend this place as it is also very convenient to drive to different parts of Tuscany. We discovered a little treasure in montefollonico and enjoyed Pienza, apart from Sienna.
Thanks you Valeria and your mummy.
I'm an open minded Italian girl, that has lived for almost an year during the university studies in Germany sharing flat with people from all over the world.
My family produces fine wines in the historical region of Chianti and I'm now the international sales responsible. This work bring me often abroad.
However during summer and spring, I love to organize visit of the wine cellar and tastings. I'm so proud of the work my family has made in the past, that when I speak about wine people say to me that they can feel and appreciate in our products our region, soil and traditional wine making.
My two passions: travel and wine tastings!
