Casa de Cultură is about allowing everyone to live in a traditional house surrounded by nature, contemporary art, musical instruments and like-minded people. We believe that this setup can unleash the creativity of everyone. The house was built in 1930 by the village's blacksmith. It featured 3 rooms and a small kitchen with a wood-burning stove. Starting late 2013, it went through a long restoration process, the idea being to give the house modern facilities while preserving its character.

The space
Imagine living in a carefully restored traditional house in one of the greenest areas of Romania.

Surrounded by musical instruments, contemporary art and antique Chinese furniture.

Casa de Cultură - Contemporary art space and rustic homestay

It all started back in 2013 with the goal of saving a traditional house. We noticed that too many beautiful old houses in Romania are being destroyed either by neglect or by poor renovation practices.

The goal of this project was to do something different - take an old house and bring it into the 21st century while preserving the original character.

It is now a place for musicians, painters and other creative people to meet.

This listing is about the house featuring two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. There are other structures in the compound, such as the restored barn and common outdoor spaces.
