Yes, Khun Napat Chuen Im, the owner, made me feel welcome from the very first contact. The Teak Villa with garden met every specification given in the airbnb listing. And the neighborhood in Mae Sot, Thailand was very typically Thai. Several good restaurants were close by and the location was nicely located for the activities we had planned. The house is managed by Khun Napat's uncle, who lives next door. He was a great guide to how the house works and made sure all of our guests were well taken care of and comfortable. This is really a beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Mae Sot and Mae Sot is a fun border-town, nestled in the hills of Western Thailand.
We had to cut our trip short due to business and only stayed for two nights of the five we had booked. The host was generous and prompt in accepting the cancellation. He and airbnb arranged a fast refund for the balance of the stay. This is definitely a place I would return to.
I am a Thai architect living in Bangkok, Thailand.
Part of my family comes from Tak, where the house is located. Since most of the year the house is empty, you have now the opportunity to enjoy a truly special property in a very singular part of the country.
