  • The room was very comfortable and Barry was a pleasant and helpful host. He was a great cook and we enjoyed our conversations in the morning. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

  • Our stay at the Lawson house was the highlight of our Vermont trip. This is quintessential Vermont. Barry and Lynn are the perfect hosts, and made us feel like we were visiting old friends. The Lawsons' concierge service was invaluable, as they always had great information about places to eat, nearby events and attractions, and driving directions. The house is absolutely charming, and our large room was clean, private, well appointed, and offered unbelievable views of the rolling countryside and neighboring farmland. Whatever you do, do not skip Barry's homemade breakfasts. (Just be sure to co ordinate with him the night before) We hope to return to Vermont often to see her in all her seasons. We will try to plan our trips so that we can stay with the Lawsons again and again. We very highly recommend staying here.

  • Barry and Lynne were wonderful hosts. Barry offered us numerous options for the things we were interested in seeing. Lynne recommended a dining option for the night we arrived and we had a wonderful meal. Both were very personable. The room was very clean and as described. There was a nice sitting area and private bathroom. We stayed two nights and Barry made wonderful breakfasts both mornings we were there. We would recommend this room for anyone wanting to visit Vermont. Very beautiful area.

  • We are very delighted with our stay "chez Lynn et Barry".
Both are pleasant and their home has a very nice location.
Even if the Blue Room has no shutters, our sleeping were deep and nice in the silence of the countryside. Barry is really a good "information center" and he likes to regale his guests with a delicious breakfast. We left them like old friends.

  • That is the most wonderful place in New England I guess! Barry and Lynne are wonderful hosts and the house and garden have an amazing view over the landscape. If you want to relax in a great place - just go there. Barry can give you recommendations about what to see in the area and for restaurants as well. Thank you Barry and Lynne for sharing your home with us - and thank you Barry for "teaching" us all about Baseball you were like a Big Papi to us - finding you was like a Homerun... :-)

  • We are grateful to Barry and Lynne as our hosts for the warm and generous welcome that they offered to us. Our first booking experience on airbandb and we will certainly be back! We very much enjoyed their presence, and their lovely house, and were touched by their kindness. The hearty breakfast each morning was fabulous (homemade waffles, eggs, local sausage, fruit blueberries, raspberries, right off the bushes! Homemade warm blueberry muffins, yogurt and delicious coffee! It couldn’t have been better. Our quarters were immaculately clean and spacious; and the house itself was situated on a quiet road with spectacular views. We had a wonderful stay! They were knowledgeable and helpful in every way suggesting places to eat and places to hike. The only difficult part of the stay was leaving! Highly recommended.

  • My and my boyfriend's stay with Barry and his wife was excellent. Barry invited as to a July Fourth dinner at the local church, suggested spots to stop on our way through Vermont, and prepared us a continental breakfast the next morning. The bedroom was beautiful, decorated in a modern, farmhouse style, and we slept very well. We all chatted about our travels, work and family histories, and we generally felt welcomed and engaged throughout our visit. We hope to pass through Peacham again and stay at their picturesque homestead.

  • Barry and Lynn are fantastic hosts. The room is lovely with views over countryside and the surrounding forests. And you get your own private bath room. Wish I had more time to explore the Peacham area.

  • My partner and I just spent four nights at Barry and Lynne's lovely home in rural Vermont and had a wonderful time. Barry and Lynne are such gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. When Barry took us up to the guest room, I knew we had found the quiet space we were looking for. The room soothes with its calming shades of blue, and affords splendid views of the fields and hills beyond the house. When we told Barry and Lynne that we wanted to hike, they helped us find good paths, gave us a guidebook, and even furnished us with a self-made, hand-drawn map! As for breakfast, it was nothing short of amazing. Barry's muffins were so delicious that we feel inspired to bake more at home. We highly recommend staying with Barry and Lynne if you are planning a trip to Vermont.

  • Barry and Lynne were great! Super nice and hospitable, they gave us excellent advice on where to go nearby. They are incredibly accommodating, and greeted us with a delicious and healthy breakfast each morning. The house is warm, comfortable, and pleasant. More importantly, Lynne and Barry are very kind, genuine people. Stay here - you will not regret it!
