We have TWO bedrooms each with a queen bed (First room is $95/night & fees through Airbnb & the 2nd ROOM IS $75/NIGHT no fees booked with me after you reserve the first room) We do this since we only book the 2nd room to family & friends since they share a bath. We can accommodate up to 4 guests.
Our street is tree lined and quiet even though 1 block from the center of town with restaurants, music, shopping, cafes, parks, theater, conservation land & a terrific yoga studio all steps away. We border beautiful walking, biking & running trails. Concord is a mecca for road bikers, historians, tourists & athletes.
Concord & West Concord are famous for it's numerous, unique shops. There are tons of activities going on all year and free music playing almost every (email hidden) Cafe 2 blocks away.
Please feel free to "inquire" about our fantastic location in the heart of charming Concord Center before you book. Home of the revolution, Thoreau, Emerson, Walden Pond, Concord is 30 minutes from Boston & Cambridge. There is a commuter train (though note that is does not run on weekends until Nov 2015 because of construction) less than 1 mile from our house that is easily walkable so having a car, though nice, is optional.
We have a small, non shedding, hypoallergenic, non barking, very laid back 15 yr old poodle mix whom you can see in the photos.
Light kitchen use.
Use of Living room, dining room, & patio
We do not provide meals but if you are welcome to coffee and/or tea.
Interaction with Guests
We love to meet and interact with our guests but we also love our privacy and respect theirs. We spend time in our living space (office & living room) on the other side of the house. We are sometimes away so not always present during out guests stay.
We have a wonderful quiet, safe neighborhood right in Concord Center.
Commuter train is less than a mile away & a delightful walk through town. Check the "MBTA Fitchburg" line for the schedule for Boston, Cambridge & Concord. IT IS NOT RUNNING WEEKENDS until 11/25/15 because of construction.
From the airport you can take public transport but it is not that easy. You can take a cab to North Station and then the commuter train to Concord . If we don't take the train because of schedules, we often take Uber which is $50 or less likely a cab which is $80 +/- from the airport to our house. If you drive, we have parking in our driveway.
NO smoking or smokers please.
NO shoes upstairs. Painted floors.
Shower glass must be squeegeed after each use.
If you use the AC, please keep your door shut while it's on.
Guests are welcome to have light use of the kitchen, dining room, living room & patio. There are numerous restaurants and cafes 1- 2 blocks away.
Provided: towels, shampoo, hair dryer, soap and just ask for anything else!
If you are traveling to Concord, this is the place to stay! It is one block to the town center, and for us, less than 4 mile drive to a wedding we were attending. Perfect location. The home is lovely, well appointented and immaculate, in a quiet neighborhood. Stacey made sure we had everything we needed and was just a text away when we had any questions. A place we will be returning to.
Just lovely! Our hosts were friendly and helpful. I really can't think of how it could have been any better.
We were made to feel welcome and the house was beautiful in a wonderful setting close to the centre of Concord.
Accurately described and a very lovely room.
The Davis' were known to us prior to the visit. They are always warm and accomodating. The house is delightful, open, clean and warm. The location is unbeatable when visiting historic Concord.
Lovely neighborhood, and I was pleased that Concord is so walkable, because I didn't have a car rental for use. Stacey & Dick have a lovely home and comfortable rooms. I loved staying here!
About the Host, Stacey & Dick
