The Space

We have 2 bedrooms (First room is $95/night & 2nd room would be $75) each with a queen bed so we can accommodate up to 4 guests. I do not rent out the rooms to separate groups at the same time since there is one bathroom for the 2 rooms. If you would like to book both rooms for a group or family, I will reply with a "special offer" which would be a total of $170/night or you may just book the one room for $95/night.

Our street is tree lined and quiet even though 1 block from the center of town with restaurants, music, shopping, cafes, parks, theater, conservation land & a terrific yoga studio all steps away. We border beautiful walking, biking & running trails. Concord is a mecca for road bikers, historians, tourists & athletes.

Concord & West Concord are famous for it's numerous, unique shops. There are tons of activities going on all year and free music playing almost every night at the Colonial Inn around the corner or Main St Cafe 2 blocks away.
Please feel free to "inquire" about our fantastic location in the heart of charming Concord Center before you book. Home of the revolution, Thoreau, Emerson, Walden Pond, Concord is 30 minutes from Boston & Cambridge. There is a commuter train less than 1 mile from our house that is easily walkable so having a car, though nice, is optional.

We have a small, non shedding, hypoallergenic, non barking, very laid back 15 yr old poodle mix whom you can see in the photos.

They will have access to the fridge and kitchen for light meals.

  • Staying with Stacey and Dick was our first experience of AirBnB, and we can't believe how lucky we were! Concord is delightful, their home is beautiful (and in a great location), and they are the perfect combination of welcoming and laid-back. They were also very accommodating, especially given our late arrival. We really can't recommend Stacey and Dick (and their adorable dog!) highly enough. Even the dog walker was friendly! Thanks for a great stay and introducing us to the world of AirBnB!

  • Stacey and Dick offer a great place to stay in Concord. Two things that stand out are the cleanliness and the location! The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The bedroom was large and had an air number bed and a love seat in it. The bathroom was convenient just around the corner in the hallway. Both are upstairs but the stairs are right as you come in the front door.

I might mention also that they have beautiful flower and shrub beds all around the house!

The location is just a very short walk to downtown. (we biked but I would say it is 8-10 minute walk) There is a great café called End of the Trail a few blocks from the house that we used to fuel up in the mornings with coffee and pastries. The house is also right off the bike trail coming from Bedford. Stacey helped us work out the bike trails and the best method to get from Boston to Concord using the bike trail system. It was a great ride! Highly recommend taking the bike trails. It took us about two hours from the Alewife stop on the red line to get to the house.

We used Stacey and Dick's place as headquarters to bike to Walden Pond, the Old North Bridge, Author's Ridge cemetery (all an easy 15 minute ride). We also left from there and took the National Park bike trail documenting the British retreat from Concord to Lexington. The bike trail was great and we really enjoyed this educational ride back to Lexington. There is a commuter train that goes to Concord from Boston but we didn't use it.

Dick and Stacey allowed us to keep our bikes in their garage so we didn't have to worry about them. We had access to the garage and could come and go as we pleased.

A great place to stay and really take advantage of Concord by staying overnight rather than just making a day trip from Boston. Highly recommend.

  • We had a great time in this beautiful house in that beautiful area. Everything was clean and comfortable and decorated very lovingly.
We had enough space in our beautiful rooms and could use the rest of the house and garden, too.
Dick and Stacey are very, very nice and helpful hosts and I would always come here again.
We had nice conversations and we are lucky that we started our first airbnb- experience with these nice people and their beautiful home.
Thank you , Stacey and Dick!!!!

  • I stayed at this charming home for a full week, while enjoying the natural beauty and historical and literary highlights of Concord. The location was perfect, close to Concord's center. My room was attractive and bright, and the bed very comfortable. Dick and Stacey were delightful hosts -- interesting, kind, and helpful. Highly recommended.

  • We had such a great time, the house is simply beautiful, Stacey & Dick are wonderful hosts and incredibly helpful and friendly, we had very interesting chats with them and only wish we could have stayed longer. The dog is the friendliest we have ever met and we would loved to have stowed him in our suitcases :) Thank you so much, we hope to be back soon! // Highly recommended //

  • Stacey and Dick were wonderful hosts. They provided everything we could possibly have needed. We could have routed our comings and goings through a separate entry, but they insisted that we tromp through their kitchen and through the patio, so we had many conversations and were always welcomed by Tripper, their small dog. We loved the light, open, uncluttered decor of our space. I wish we could stay in their house in every city we visit!

  • Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to meet Stacey and Dick since they were away for the week-end when I arrived and I had to leave very quickly for personal reasons. However the house was great, just like in the pictures.
I hope I will be able to come back there soon !
