Welcome to Nyc!! :)

There is a queen size bed. You'll have fresh towels and sheets, hairdryer, and everything else you need to be comfortable and happy in NYC. There is a large empty closet with plenty of hanging space and shelves that will hold your suitcase out of sight.
The apartment is a studio, like a large hotel room with living space, office area, kitchen and a windowed bathroom.
The apartment has a fully equipped, kitchen with new appliances so you can have coffee, tea, a snack, or cook. There is free wifi and an office desk in case you need to work and
a 42" flat screen tv, free cable and high speed internet.

The building has an on site care taker and I will be only a few blocks away in case you need anything.

The neighborhood is beautiful, low-rise and filled to the brim with all kinds of restaurants (Waverly Inn, Morandi, Minetta Tavern, the Spotted Pig), cafes, bakeries (Magnolia, Amy's Bread), jazz clubs (Small's, the Blue Note, the Village Vanguard) great shopping (endless, and great clothes), bookstores (Three Lives) markets (Union Square greenmarket, Faicco's Pork Store, Murray's Cheese Shop, Gourmet Garage), and contemporary art galleries. Walk easily to Chelsea, Soho, Union Square, Meatpacking District, the Highline. Very close to West 13th and 14th st subway stations and A,E,C,F,V,1,2 trains.

Let me know if you have any further questions :)

We stayed a month in Sara's studio apartment and found it to be a brilliant base for exploring all corners of the city. It's a short walk to the 1-2-3, A-C-E, B-D-F-M and L subway lines, a brilliant combination which will take you pretty much anywhere you need to go in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. The apartment itself is in a lovely elevator building on a quiet street in the West Village, but just steps away from lots of restaurants and bars - there's a Starbucks right on the corner, if that's your thing. Only a short walk to Meatpacking and all that fun stuff (the Whitney, the High Line etc), or to Washington Square and all the colour of the Village (Macdougal Street comedy clubs, Stonewall Inn, cabaret bars etc). The apartment itself is very small (hey, it's New York) but there is a good amount of space for hanging and putting away clothes, and a closet for storing bags. You shouldn't be planning on cooking (it's New York, what the hell are you cooking for?) but if you are, you won't want to do it in this kitchen - it's strictly for toast and coffee only. The bathroom is a good size, with a bath and shower. There is a window mounted air conditioner in the room which worked well for us in April, but I can imagine in hotter months it might get a bit sweaty. There's a laundry in the basement which was very handy, and Sara left us a laundry card which we could add value to with our credit card by calling the company. Only complaint is that the sheets on the bed could have been a bit nicer/newer, but for a short stay that's probably not so much of an issue. Overall I highly recommend Sara's place and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in Sara's home-place is an exciting New York experience! I've stayed with my wife for 28 days here. The building is pretty old and it well conveys the atmosphere of New York I saw in the cinema :) Everything is very close to the apartments: 4 mins subway, 5mins grocery store and it's only 15 minutes from TimesSquare. Neighbourhood is pretty silent and super is nice and helpful. I wish everyone stay here if you want to have a great time in New York in a safe area and with comfortable conditions!

I stayed here for a few weeks on a business trip. The apartment is cozy, neat and has everything you need. Check in/out we're both very easy, the super was so sweet and helpful. The place is also in the best neighborhood in NYC, near tons of bars, restaurants and around the corner from the subway. Would totally stay here again!
