A pleasant stay and just as advertised. We walked the 20 minutes to the Shakespeare Festival, which was nice. The deer and two fawns put on quite a show for us, right outside our window; that was fun!

Great historic neighborhood with a resident deer population. House is in walking distance from Ashland's shops, restaurants, theaters, Lithia Park and trails. Convenient to grocery store too. Room and bath are very private with separate entrance. If you are dreessing up for a show or something, note that it doesn't have a full-length mirror. Lacking very little though, and a really pleasant place to stay.

Great bedroom, bathroom, and morning coffee in an air-conditioned home. High temperature was 95 when we were there! Very comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed watching a 5-member deer family pass me as I was sitting on the porch, reading. Phyllis was an unobtrusive, quiet and easy-going host. Great experience!

Some folks say I am "old Ashland". The greatest of compliments! Moved here with the '70's hippie pioneers...after all these years, I still walk out my door and am grateful for living in such a beautiful town. I raised 3 children here, returned to school and became an RN. I sing in a few community choirs, go for long walks/hikes, ride my bike instead of drive my car in town. I have a big yard with a garden, and my happiest moments are spent digging in the dirt with my grandchildren. I enjoy the Shakespeare plays, movies. Spend time at the Y ( which is a very happening place here :). I travel when I can, having been to Cuba and Chili most recently. I enjoy a good laugh, am easy to be around, and I am reallly looking forward to meeting new travelers in my home.
