Nice space! Easy directions. Comfortable bed, great pillows! Nice homey space. We felt very comfortable.
Everything was as wonderful as advertised about Phyllis' home -- and more! The room was spacious and clean, with a high ceiling; the bathroom is really terrifically decorated. Our host left out tea for us and, since she was home, said hello, gave us local dinner recommendations, and double-checked our room for all the necessities.
And that bed you see in the photograph is supremely comfortable and quite large.
A few wild deer wander around the backyard garden, and that made our morning! Ashland is a cute and wonderful town, and Phyllis' home fits right into that description.
What a lovely, comfortable guest room! Incredibly cozy! Loved the shower design with the windows. So many sweet, nice touches, especially the setup for pour over coffee in the room. Easy walk to downtown. Great setup overall. Highly recommend.
We had a very nice stay with Phyllis in her lovely room in Ashland. Although we did not hear from Phyllis until we arrived, the check-in process went smoothly. Phyllis set out tea and coffee and the bed was warm and comfortable. The space is beautiful and was the perfect place for us to rest on our trip back home. We would love to come back during play season!
Everything about this room worked out great for us. Instructions were clear, directions were great, and the key was where it was supposed to be.
I had a very comfortable three nights at Phyllis's place. The room is sweet and the setting quiet and private. The bathroom is lovely too, and everyone mentions the shower, so I will too. It's big and comfy and unique. I got to meet Phyllis at the end which was also nice. I would stay here again.
Phyllis has an excellent space. We really enjoyed our weekend get away there and the coffee was fantastic!
Some folks say I am "old Ashland". The greatest of compliments! Moved here with the '70's hippie pioneers...after all these years, I still walk out my door and am grateful for living in such a beautiful town. I raised 3 children here, returned to school and became an RN. I sing in a few community choirs, go for long walks/hikes, ride my bike instead of drive my car in town. I have a big yard with a garden, and my happiest moments are spent digging in the dirt with my 3 year old grandson who lives 3 blocks away. Enjoy the Shakespeare plays, movies. Spend time at the Y ( which is a very happening place here :). I travel when I can, having been to India and Ecuador most recently and have another trip planned in May. I enjoy a good laugh, am easy to be around, and I am reallly looking forward to meeting new travelers in my home.
