We have visited Ashland often for Shakespeare Festival playgoing, usually renting a house with friends. Phyllis' place was a great option for a couple. It's a 15 min. walk to the theaters, close to restaurants and shops, in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room was spacious and comfortable with good chairs for sitting, hot pot for coffee and tea, plates and utensils for a light snack. Furnishings and bath decor were antique/ethnic. Comfy bed and pillows. The room was quiet and has a private entrance. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here. The room was cozy and full of natural light. Phyllis gave us clear instructions for finding the room and the key while she was out. The room had a tea and coffee station, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and a nice place to sit. The house is close to shops, but very quiet and relaxing.

Enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the home. Got helpful suggestions from Phyllis for places to visit and for good dining. Would definitely pick the same place if we go back to Ashland. Thank you, Phyllis

Very cosy and quiet room with private entry and very nice location. We appreciated the private bathroom with Moorish? motif and tile. We also enjoyed the coffee which was provided. The room was good sized with off street parking, a private entry and the place even came complete a very friendly cat.

Some folks say I am "old Ashland". The greatest of compliments! Moved here with the '70's hippie pioneers...after all these years, I still walk out my door and am grateful for living in such a beautiful town. I raised 3 children here, returned to school and became an RN. I sing in a few community choirs, go for long walks/hikes, ride my bike instead of drive my car in town. I have a big yard with a garden, and my happiest moments are spent digging in the dirt with my grandchildren. I enjoy the Shakespeare plays, movies. Spend time at the Y ( which is a very happening place here :). I travel when I can, having been to Cuba and Chili most recently. I enjoy a good laugh, am easy to be around, and I am reallly looking forward to meeting new travelers in my home.
