The Spring is set in a beautiful location on the private 42 acre Steanbridge Farm in the Slad Valley. This luxury conversion is on trend and the perfect location for a mini break. The Ralph Lauren material sofa pulls out into a 5ft comfortable bed mattress with the bedding hidden beneath the frame. There is a super shower with mains water pressure, large fridge, clothes hanging space, heating, air conditioning and a gas plancha on the relaxing patio. The famous Woolpack Pub is 500 metres walk.

The space
There is car parking space for 2 cars and the glade has a natural running spring to the right of the well lit stairs which take you to your accommodation. A truly idyllic place to get away from it all but if you need to be connected there is wifi, smart TV and bluetooth speaker. Venturing out you will find a variety of things to do on your door step. Walking is exceptionally popular in the area due to the traditional looking villages and great local charm. While you’re out and about why not visit The Woolpack pub which is known locally as one of the best pubs in the Cotswolds and is famous for being frequented by Laurie Lee. It is important to reserve a table. The Spring is on the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and a map is available within the property. Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust owns four beautiful nature reserves in the Slad Valley called Frith Wood, Snows Farm, Swifts Hill and thanks to a very successful fundraising appeal the new Laurie Lee Wood. The Laurie Lee Wildlife Way takes in all four Nature Reserves and the trail is marked by wooden posts carved with the famous authors poems. People come from all over Europe to see the beauty of these valleys. If you fancy going a little further afield you will find Tetbury, Cirencester, Cheltenham with its regency charm, as well as Stroud, Painswick, Gloucester and the rest of the Cotswolds right on your doorstep. There is an excellent farm shop called Jolly Nice on the Cirencester to Stroud road if you wish to pick up some supplies. Your landlord has a Pedigree Dexter Beef heard and normally has some available to buy if asked.

I run 4 holiday properties on the farm where I live with my husband and two teenage sons. My husband trains racehorses which is like a school with no holidays so there is always someone here to help our guests. I am friendly and helpful, can be contacted anytime via my mobile.
