The Kingsley Grist Mill is a national historic site and museum that is not open to the public, is only available to one guest group of up to five adults and young adults at a time. *The interior and totally private space consists of more than 3,000 sq. ft. of mind bending solid first generation hemlock grain bins, chutes and ladders. Some of the oldest interior elements in the Kingsley Grist Mill, such as the downstairs bathroom door, date back to 1778 when the post Revolutionary War Crary house was first constructed on this site.
All four stories of the Mill's main structure are yours to explore and embrace exclusively, including two chained and cantilevered river decks ( featured in Achitectural Digest's "Deck & Patio Idea Book", Taunton Press ),
with 30 ft. and 60 ft. views respectively of Mill river's 150 ft. carved waterfall directly below.
