In the midst of wide meadows, right next to the historic Wasserschloss von Mellenthin, a former barn awaits you, which has been transformed into a unique retreat with a lot of passion, sense of style and sense of community. The barn loft at the water castle is a meeting place for families, friends and people who appreciate generosity, authenticity and loving design.

The combination of brick charm, generous space and high-quality furnishings makes the barn loft a visual pleasure. Here you will find space and tranquility for your group, extended family, circle of friends or as a retreat.

The apartment is practically invisible from the street. Well thought-out details, plenty of seating, plenty of dishes and flexible sleeping options make a meeting with many guests uncomplicated. The furnishings are individual, with antique and designer furniture and provide modern comfort where you need it.

A large, fully equipped kitchen with a long table, several cozy seating areas, a large tiled stove, stylish bedrooms with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms.

Outside, a spacious garden invites you. Everyone can find a place to relax or romp, whether at the fireplace or at the large fruit meadow. In summer, a romantic circus wagon is used for private moments.

Our building used to serve the moated castle as a farm building. We have converted part of the former servants' rooms as well as the stable for the vacation loft.

In the immediate vicinity are other manor buildings, the castle, the large park and the beautiful village church. Ancient trees and wide meadows surround this castle complex.

In keeping with the stately ambience, a pair of storks reside on the roof in the summer months. The three fine restaurants in the neighborhood attract gourmets and in front of the house you can rent a horse-drawn carriage.

Mellenthin is the center of Usedom.
The Bodden side is 5 km away and the lake side is 15 km away. The fashionable seaside resorts are only 15 minutes away by car.
