This apartment was perfect for our weekend trip to Houston. The place is in a great location downtown, was clean & looked good when we arrived, and included extra amenities such as linens, coffee, WiFi and Roku (Netflix/Hulu Plus/Crackle etc). It felt like we were staying at a friend or relatives house versus a hotel.
We were able to walk to the House of Blues for dinner and a concert, and it was just a short drive to the Montrose neighborhood where we found some great restaurants. Kate also provided us with a list of recommended attractions, restaurants, and things to do around the city.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in/near the downtown area.
Overall, this is a comfortable space with tasteful decor in an older apartment building. Residents are young professionals. Street noise (sirens) is loud because the windows are old and the balcony door is difficult. This is not a luxury apartment and might be better suited for men due to the cramped bathroom sink and dressing area of the bedroom. Nice foam mattress. Easy WiFi. Smooth check in and out process. FABULOUS breakfast sandwiches in the deli on 1st floor. Beware of trash fumes which overwhelmed the unit on my last day. The apartment is located across from the trash room . It was simply awful. But only happened once.
Kate was my host for my Valentine's Day weekend in Houston and what a great stay it was! The apartment upon arrival was super well kept and offered a great view of the city. The amenities were a plus! My girlfriend and I played pool on the "clubhouse" level which was fun. Kate was super easy to communicate with and offered assistance when needed. The king size bed was extra comfy!! Overall, my stay was more than what I could have hoped for. I would definitely book with Kate again!
she is the best host never had in all the entire TX!!!
I already been at her place twice and I will keep going to book one of her apt.!!!
What a great place! So much better than staying at a hotel. Celebrated my 50th b-day with some girlfriends and this was completely perfect !
Came into Houston for a convention downtown. This apartment worked out very well. It's a small clean apartment that works very well in leu of a hotel room. It's within walking distance of most of downtown.
The only thing I'd like to see improved is the TV service. There is no cable and the service that is used for Netflix, Hulu, ect. is not very good. This is not a big deal unless you plan on spending a lot of time in the apartment.
Overall, a nice place in a good location. Kate was helpful when I called her and it was very easy to check-in and out. I would stay here again.
Great downtown condo that fits the exact description with all amenities. Easiest transaction ever
Kate was very prompt and responsive to my questions and I felt well prepared upon check in and check out. I had a wonderful stay at this location. Everything I needed was on site and the location was quiet, convenient and clean.
nice apartment, very clean, Awesome gym with a great view!
Kate's places are always so clean and accommodating! I stay with Kate every time I can when I have a business trip in Houston. I highly recommend you check out her spaces on Airbnb!
