  • Although the building is 15 years old, it (email hidden) to stay. Clean & comfortable and Kate was very considerate, she provided all amenities required.

  • Kate was great host... prepared with lots of info and made the process simple. The apartment was as expected and we were happy with the neighborhood. We are from Houston so we knew we wanted to be downtown, close to the train and attending activities there.

The downside was building related and not Kate's fault. Entire building had some AC issue and maintenance worked on it while we are there. Hopefully that was just a fluke issue during our stay.

  • Great stay and Kate was a very responsive host- would def do it again!

  • kate's apartment was clean, bright, and exactly as shown in the pictures. although there isn't a lot to do in the area that surrounds the complex, it was within walking distance or a short drive to quite a few restaurants, bars, or museums. we enjoyed our stay--thanks, kate!

  • Really nice apartment, very comfortable with great views of the city. Perfect location for exploring Houston and it was very handy having our own parking space which meant we could hire a car and not have to worry about it being parked on the street.
Kate (email hidden), replied very promptly to any queries and was happy to help with any problems we had. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Houston.

  • The place was great and as shown in the pictures. Kate was responsive and helpful, but everything was so nicely setup and organized that we really didn't need to reach out for anything. Nice experience overall and would do it again.

  • The place was clean and comfy, no complaints. Kate dealt with some of my nonsense with unrelenting humbleness. A+...

  • Loved it!! Just as advertised. Easy to contact host. Great location. Check in and check out was very smooth. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

  • This apartment was perfect for our weekend trip to Houston. The place is in a great location downtown, was clean & looked good when we arrived, and included extra amenities such as linens, coffee, WiFi and Roku (Netflix/Hulu Plus/Crackle etc). It felt like we were staying at a friend or relatives house versus a hotel.

We were able to walk to the House of Blues for dinner and a concert, and it was just a short drive to the Montrose neighborhood where we found some great restaurants. Kate also provided us with a list of recommended attractions, restaurants, and things to do around the city.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in/near the downtown area.

  • Overall, this (email hidden) with tasteful decor in an older apartment building. Residents are young professionals. Street noise (sirens) is loud because the windows are old and the balcony door is difficult. This is not a luxury apartment and might be better suited for men due to the cramped bathroom sink and dressing area of the bedroom. Nice foam mattress. Easy WiFi. Smooth check in and out process. FABULOUS breakfast sandwiches in the deli on 1st floor. Beware of trash fumes which overwhelmed the unit on my last day. The apartment is located across from the trash room . It was simply awful. But only happened once.

About
Hi everyone! My name is Kate. I love to learn about different cultures, visit different countries, tour unique places, and most importantly taste what the world has to offer! I love to wine, dine, cook and entertain. I recently discovered AIRBNB on my last trip to Europe. When I got back home, my idea was to put my place on AIRBNB just to fill someone in while I traveled more to see the world. Well as luck has it, I've turned it into a business and now have several listings for you to choose from. I have a lot more to offer if you can commit 6 months to a year. When traveling, I love staying in unique places and sometimes I will travel just to stay in a cool place. I especially love desert homes. I recently got to see stay in one, the Desert Nomad House. Wow, that was such an amazing experience and probably the only reason I would fly out to Tucson, Arizona. A few months ago, I took a drive out to Marfa, Texas. If you're ever up to see something strange yet cool, the fake Prada store in the middle of the W Texas desert is something to see. Stay at the Thunderbird Hotel and go see the Mystery Lights - heck, I missed that last time. Maybe I'll even jump in the car and hit the road with you! I really enjoy hosting and meeting people from this site. Whenever I am free, I love showing my guests around town and my favorite restaurants/bars. Happy booking, looking forward to hosting you! Love, Kate
