🏠 The Lookout:
The home is thoughtfully laid out across three levels, offering both connection and privacy.

The main living area features soaring ceilings and a wall of windows that frame the lake and mountains beyond. Sliding doors open to a large deck with outdoor dining, seating, and a gas BBQ — perfect for shared meals, sunset drinks, or simply taking in the view.
The fully stocked main kitchen includes cooking essentials, pantry staples, and a complete coffee setup with Nespresso and drip machines, milk frother, instant hot kettle, syrups, and spices.

The daylight basement functions as a second living zone, with a large 4K TV, independent climate control, a second full kitchen, and direct access to a lower deck with overhead heaters, a wood-burning fire pit, and the hot tub.

🛏️ Bedrooms & Sleeping
Each bedroom is designed for deep rest after full days outdoors.
Primary loft bedroom: King Sleep Number mattress (adjustable firmness), lake and mountain views, en-suite bath
Main floor bedroom: Plush king BeautyRest Black mattress; quiet and naturally darker in the mornings
Basement bedroom: Two queen BeautyRest mattresses, blackout curtains, and deck access
All bedrooms include fans, phone chargers, built-in USB ports, and comfortable linens.

🔥 Outdoor Living
Enjoy multiple outdoor spaces designed to slow time down — upper and lower decks, swings overlooking the lake, a private fire pit, lawn games, and a hot tub positioned for ideal views, stargazing, and misty morning soaks. Firewood is provided.

🛶 Garage & Gear
The heated 2-car garage doubles as a gear hub, stocked with kayaks, fishing gear, lake floats, axe and knife throwing, an air compressor, jump starter, and a 60-amp Tesla EV charger with adapter — making adventures easy and spontaneous.

🐾 Dog Friendly
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. The yard is fully fenced so they can explore safely while you relax.

If you’re looking for a place that feels intentional, unhurried, and deeply connected to its surroundings — a place for late nights that turn into slow mornings — welcome to Alder Lake Lookout.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home, decks, and outdoor living areas, as well as the two right-most bays of the heated garage.

The garage serves as a basecamp and is stocked with outdoor gear, games, and equipment for your stay.

You’re welcome to explore the immediate property around the home. Some hillside areas and trail projects are still a work in progress — we appreciate you using care when wandering.

Other things to note
🚨 Seasonal access note:
During winter months, snow and freezing conditions can occur in the surrounding area, and the final hill up to the home can become icy. While the cabin itself does not often receive heavy snowfall, we require a 4WD/AWD vehicle and/or chains if snow or freezing rain is in the forecast.

Guests who are not comfortable driving in winter mountain conditions may prefer to visit during milder months.
