THE PODTEL
The "Podtel", a tiny house Pod hotel we call the Colony is the world's first truly autonomous living space that can colonise any terrain. It requires no public services to function by making its own water, electricity and waste treatment. We can park in spaces where construction is not possible.
A.I. POWERED
It is completely self-sustaining, self-sufficient, fully equipped and mobile phone APP controlled: from entry, lighting, temperature, aroma, sound, TV and concierge to Artificial Intelligence powered energy management. Everything is connected.
SELF-SUSTAINING
Climate change is a real threat so we went completely offgrid and green. Our proprietary technology makes our own water, electricity and waste treatment without plugging into local services. The colony is carbon neutral and can operate for 4 days without sun on solar charged batteries.

FAMOUS
This podtel location was used in various high profile video/photoshoots like The XPENG electric car launch in EU, the Black Mirror TV show, numerous fashion houses launches and some of the most famous travel influencers.
The location has also been covered by various media outlets including the National Geographic Traveller.
Guest access
The property is on a private land on top of a mountain. The natural space is completely private and yours to enjoy.
Access to the podtel is by car directly to the property. Direction maps will be provided on booking and the DISTRICTHIVE APP must be installed to control and access everything.
Other things to note
The podtel is eco-friendly and self sustainable, placed in some of the harshest locations of our planet where habitation was not traditionally possible.
Although we do our best to provide everything you will need to live in this space in absolute luxury, there may be occasions when the weather is extreme, e.g. winds, rain, cold winters, and very hot summers in the dessert. Guests will need to come prepared and with this knowledge in mind due to unpredictability of weather and the sun which is required to charge the podtel's 60KW batteries (Sufficient for 2 days constant use without sun).
The access road is a dirt track so you need to drive slow during the last mile and preferably come with a 4x4 or higher car.
It is not recommended to use taxis, we suggest you arrive with a hire car and in order to easily access amenities and restaurants at the local village.
You must setup the APP and follow instructions before arrival in order to be able to enter the pod.
The host will always be available via the APP so you will have help on demand.
The location is in a desert on top of a mountain, considering the enormous challenges to operate in such a desolate landscape, we ask that you come with an open mind because this is nothing like you have ever stayed at before.
Where possible, please always leave the doors closed to avoid the desert dust from coming in.
Please use the provided toilet paper lining before using the toilet as we have a special incineration toilet.
Please do not use shoes inside the podtel and no more than 2 adults and 2 children / young adults are allowed inside the podtel.
