One acre plus of wooded privacy, located right on the river at the legendary Poverty Bay Chutes. Ideal for a romantic getaway, or for those looking for a refreshing escape. Swimming, canoeing, and fishing (awesome fly fishing), up or down river or across the road in Poverty Bay Lake. The cottage has a breathtaking view of the rapids that is gorgeous all year round.
The full service cottage offers fresh linens to make you feel at home instantly.

A note: the rapids, while glorious, are not ideal for children or pets.

Other things to note
A minimum 7 night stay is required during June, July and August. A special weekly rate is offered all rental season.
Security deposit of $250 required with rental contract.
Respectfully, we ask that you do not smoke inside the river house.
