  • The room was very comfortable and Marlious was an excellent host.

The home is very spacious and guests have their own sitting room in which to relax, watch tv etc.

I would recomend this to anyone wanting to stay in this part of Melbourne

  • Well Marlous has a nice house [with comfortable bed] and a really huge bathroom. That's what mentioned on the Air BnB and we got it, for which we paid. Along with that I got a lots of bonus and those are unbelievable.
She was awake till 3:00AM to welcome us [even Melbourne Airport Information center lady was not ready to believe this]. We planned to visit Philip Island and she gave us a blanket proactively and it was cold there. She gave us train pass to Melbourne central, but we're not able to recharge it for less that $35. She wrote a letter to official and suggested us to travel and pay it their. For any information starting from where to visit till how to avoid toll, she helped us everywhere.
I'm really thankful to her recommending to all who is planning t o visit Melbourne.

  • My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Marlous' and Yalenka's house from March 22 -29. They made us feel so at home as if we were staying some relatives overseas. Breakfast was setup nicely in the morning and there was also a mini fridge to store our food. The private family room was nice for us to watch our TV program in the evening. My daughter enjoyed playing with Shannon the dog that is so well-behaved. I will not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay at their beautiful home. Thanks Marlous and Yalenka for a wonderful stay and hope we can meet again in the near future.

  • I had the most wonderful opportunity to stay with Marlous and Yalenka whilst I was recently in Melbourne for 4 days. Though I was hardly there during the day, I always came back to a welcoming atmosphere in such a beautiful home. Great care is taken in offering such a high standard and it really shows. Thank you Marlous and Yalenka

  • We had a great time staying at Marlous place. Plenty of space, we didn´t have to stay in our bedroom when not sleeping. Also having our own bathroom and toilet was good. Table set for breakfast in the mornings. Marlous is a very nice lady taking well care of you all the time. Close to train station. Recommended.
Margareta & Roland from Sweden, stayed for 5 weeks.

  • I had a really good time in Melbourne and for a big part it was because I could come home to this lovely B&B every night.
The hostess was very nice and helpful with any questions or problems I had during my stay.
Since it is located close to one of the train stations it was easy to get around.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is staying in Melbourne.

  • Hello everybody! I stayed three months with Marlous and Yalenka and it couldn't have been better! I had a really nice room and an extraordinary bathroom for my own, but even better, Marlous and Yalenka made me feel at home in Melbourne from the first day! We had wonderful chats and I had great fun playing football in Yalenka’s football team. Whoever wants to visit Melbourne should not hesitate to stay at Marlous’ and Yalenka’s house!

  • Hi guys, we're Indonesian couple who stayed in Australia for studying. Me and my wife want to share our experience living in Marlous' place.

We had really great experience there. Marlous is a lovely teacher, she is very nice to us and more importantly, she was giving us a l(phone number hidden)ttt of information about staying in Melbourne and those were really useful for us. Her daughter, Yalenka, was so nice to us. And also her dog, Shannon.

We lived there for 2 weeks and Marlous had given us many good advices. Her house is really awesome. She provided a cozy & warm room and also a private bathroom. There is a living room which we could use freely. She also provide print & scan facility and also 24-hours internet connection. The kitchen is really nice and clean. When we stayed there, Marlous cooked us food from our country, NASI GORENG!! and the taste was really good.. :)

There is a bus stop exactly in front of her house which could bring you directly to Chadstone Shopping Centre, the biggest shopping centre in Melbourne. If you want to go to city, there is a train station within 400m. So basically it's really easy to go anywhere.

So, if you want to stay in Melbourne, don't hesitate to live in Marlous' place. You will definitely have really great experience living there.
