Please respect the environment of the apartment and that of your neighbors.

Since I personally live in the apartment when it's not rented out, please DO NOT use non-guest closets to avoid the potential mixing up of belongings. One large closet is reserved for your exclusive use.

Please DO NOT take anything that does not belong to you (e.g. books/bedding/towels/electronics/silverware etc.)

NO smoking.

NO shoes beyond the entryway.

NO additional guests/visitors unless previously approved by owner.

NO parties or noisy social gatherings.

Keep speaking and music/TV volume at a low level.

Please be kind to the walls by not dragging your luggage along them. When cooking, use pot lids to prevent splattering on the walls. They've recently been re-painted and would love to remain scuff free. (Surprising how many people get food all over the walls!)

When using the microwave to reheat food, please use the plastic covers provided to prevent splatters.

DO NOT put non-dishwasher safe items into the dishwasher. E.g. nonstick pans, bowl for rice cooker, chopsticks, etc.

DO NOT put the cloth side of the shower curtain inside of the tub. There are two parts/layers to the shower curtain system: the *cloth part* belongs OUTSIDE of the tub (to look nice), and the *liner part* belongs INSIDE the tub (to keep water from flooding the bathroom).

If you dirty something more so than average, please let us know! We understand that accidents (although rare) happen but would greatly appreciate being notified if anything is stained, scuffed, broken etc. so we can take care of it before the arrival of the next guests.

NO mail/packages/parcels can be shipped to the apartment.

You'll be asked to leave immediately if any complaint is received regarding inappropriate noise, conduct, etc.

Security deposit will be returned within 48 hours of checkout, upon key return and satisfactory apartment inspection.

Thank you in advance for taking great care of my home!

You must also acknowledge
Potential for noise - Most guests have left positive reviews of the apartment being quiet, but the windows/walls are not soundproof against unpredictable NYC noises.
Amenity limitations - Sorry there's no cable. But you will have access to a free Netflix account on the Apple TV! Sorry please don't have any mail/packages sent here.

Communication was outstanding, the host was very accommodating of our requests of check in and check out times, the unit was very clean and not noisy at all, and the location was perfect with easy access to many attractions and subways. We recommend highly!

Staying at Coral's place was such a great experience. I would recommend her place to anyone visiting, especially if you aren't very familiar with the city. My boyfriend and I stayed at Coral's place for about a week while we were in transition moving from California and she was so incredibly helpful with neighborhood recommendations for food and things to do - she even sent us several apartment listings in various parts of Manhattan. Not only did she go above and beyond in terms of being the host, her place was spotless, comfortable and perfect for a long or short stay. I don't have enough good things to say about our experience.

It is certainly a pleasure to say how wonderful my stay at Samantha's apartment was. It turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website. The living area was comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, perfect-sized bathroom and the building well-maintained. All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. The apartment could not be better located and Samantha had suggestions in a binder that provided an insider's view of the city and neighborhood. Thank you Samantha for your hospitality!

Samantha was exceptionally helpful, and the extensive info she provided was very useful. Her apartment was immaculate and very quiet. The photo makes the apartment look somewhat larger than it is, but that's not a big deal. Bottom line: we had a great trip! The only caveat: Samantha's apartment is perfect for visitors going to the 9/11 site, as it's just a short walk, and her apartment is also fairly close to the new Whitney. But the financial district is a long cab ride to uptown museums; visitors to the Metropolitan, for example, may want to stay in a more proximate neighborhood. Another observation, but unrelated to Samantha's place. Uber, Lyft, Juno and Gett are convenient, but it's not clear they represent a bargain. In some cases cabs may be cheaper and quicker, but I don't have enough experience to know for sure.

Coral User ProfileCoral is a superhost.

Me as a guest:
Respectful, clean, neat, and quiet. I know how much work it is to rent out your home and go the extra mile to be considerate of that. I'm normally out all day scuba diving, windsurfing, skiing, or gallery/winery/restaurant hopping.
