Overlooking Nadur is the village of Xaghra, where one can visit the Ggantija Temples; some of the oldest manmade temples in the world.
Gozo is a small island, but is rich in culture. Feasts (Village Festivals) are celebrated each weekend from May till the end of September, with fireworks, bands and local food, beer and wine. Gozo is also a haven for snorkelers and scuba divers offering one of the finest underwater experiences in the world. There are several scuba diving schools around the island for beginners all the way to advanced divers.
From Malta one needs to take a ferry to come to Gozo. The ferry service is very frequent, and takes about 20 minutes for each trip.

Our hosts Joanne & Peter made us feel very welcome. Joanne had even prepared some sandwiches and provided fruit and water on our arrival! The apartment was exactly as per the pictures and description in the website. We found the location of Nadur perfect. A nice little town close to everything and with a few nices places to eat
Soggiorno ideale a Gozo.
We were here 2 days in the summer. Peter and Joanne picked us up from the ferry, and brought us to the appatment. Joanne had made some delicious sandwiches and they helped us renting a scooter. They told us the basics on the buslines and on the basic history of Gozo.
It was a great stay in a lovely appartment at a fantastic location. A definite recommendation for anyone staying a couple of nights on Gozo.
Had a fantastic stay at this cute little apartment, clean, well equiped and very well located (everything in Gozo is close) a great choice of beaches when it's windy with in 5mins drive or Ramle bay with in 10min walk.
When we arrived Joana waited for us and prepared some fresh sandwiches. a nice touch. very welcoming hosts. who also shared top tips with us for local area.
I am Joanne and I am from Gozo/Malta and my husband Peter is from Hamburg/Germany. We've been living here in Gozo almost 30 years and in our opinion it's the best place to be. It is a beautiful island, full of culture and traditions and very safe. We love going for nice walks over the island, and photography. We also like to travel and meet interesting people.
