  • My family of five (wife and three college-age daughters) just finished a three night stay at Pierantonio's beautiful (website hidden). This apartment deserves all its excellent reviews. It looks even better in person than in the photos---clean, well maintained, and fully equipped.

The location is excellent, on a small quiet street, but near enough everything to walk. The nearby bakery is excellent, and the bottle-filling wine shop is a fantastic bargain. The apartment's kitchen is well stocked (olive oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, butter, milk, juice, toasting bread, jams, bottle of prosecco, etc.), making food preparation a breeze.

Christine provided great communication, met us at the vaporetto stop, brought us to the apartment and showed us how everything works. She was very helpful in pointing out useful nearby locations.

Staying in this apartment was a completely positive experience, and we would be happy to stay there again should we be lucky enough to return to Venice.

    Response from Pierantonio:

Thank you again Clyde for your kind review and for your useful warning message about the lock, I have checked and it needs to be fixed, I will.
    Best wishes from Venice,
    Pierantonio

  • My wife, our two young adult children and I stayed here for 3 nights. We read all the positive reviews before we booked it and it still totally exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect with easy access to the vaporetto, far enough from the crowds but close enough walk to any of the sights. The kitchen was complete and stocked with many extras. The view was amazing – you could easily spend all morning watching the action on the small canal beneath the living room window. Wifi worked like a charm. Pierantonia was prompt in responding to all our pre-travel inquiries and Christine, who met us at the boat stop, was gracious and helpful in directing us to local restaurants and other points of interest. We all highly recommend this apartment and hope we can come back again soon!

  • I had the great good fortune to spend 4 wonderful days in stunning Venice while staying at Pierantonia's beautiful apartment.

My interaction with Pierantonia, Gloria and Chris were exemplary.

The apartment was exactly as described and true to the pictures. It's situation is perfect being both close enough to the action, short walks to major attractions and from the airport boat but yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. Everything I needed including an umbrella for the rain was available to me. The apartment was lovely and warm for my winter trip.

I would definitely recommend Pierantonia's apartment and given the opportunity to return, would do so gladly.

    Thank you.

  • As others have already shared, this is a beautiful apartment owned by wonderful hosts! It was perfect for my family of 5! We had everything we needed and more. The location is ideal- just outside all the "touristy" areas, on a quiet and tranquil canal, where you can watch the gondoliers float by. A grocery, bakery, water bus stop, and wine shop (try their Prosecco!) are all very close by. We are recommending this apartment to all our family and friends that plan to stay in Venice! Will be where our family will stay when we return without question!

  • It seems left to me only to confirm what others fortunate enough to have stayed in Pierantonio's apartment have already expressed. Excellent on all counts. It rained for most of our 3 night stay, but our spirits were not dimmed. A very comfortable, strategically located and well-appointed apartment in a very beautiful city. Thank you Christine and thank you Pierantonio.

  • Magic View Inside Venice is exactly as it appears in the photos and exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very roomy, very clean and felt like a home away from home. It was really close to a lovely piazza where local families meet, shop and eat. It is not in a heavy tourist area, but close enough to walk to everything including the Rialto bridge and basilica San Marco. We are a family of 5 and would highly recommend Pierantonia and Gloria's apartment for families or groups travelling together. Communication with Pierantonia, and with his apartment manager, Christine, was excellent.

  • We couldn't fault this apartment! It was beautifully kept and the view was incredible. Everything had been thought of by Pierantonio down to the Prossecco in the fridge. His lovely assistant Christine met us at the water bus stop, took us to the apartment and gave us lots of great recommendations on places to eat and the the transport system. (She even came back with waterproof overshoes in anticipation of the flooding which we would have been pretty soggy without!) We had a magical time and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again or recommend it to anyone! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

  • Appartement très agréable à vivre. Très central et surtout près de commerce (coop, tabac, pizzeria très bonne, petit bar de locaux...) Accueil très sympatique !

  • I was very glad that I chose this apartment. The communication beforehand was great and we were met at the boat stop and taken to the apartment which was very nice indeed. It was comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. There was tea, coffee, bread and other provisions waiting for us along with a cold bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch. The view from the windows was lovely and really added to the charm of the property. It was ideally situated to explore beautiful Venice and we took every opportunity to do so. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

  • My sister and I were extremely pleased with our stay at Pierantonio and Gloria's apartment. It is extremely spacious (much bigger than we needed!), very nicely kept, with a large kitchen and one of the best showers in Italy! The view out of the living room window is unmatched, it overlooks a beautiful little canal and bridge and is a peaceful refuge in the midst of a busy city. We had no issues walking to any of the places we wanted to visit, and usually preferred to walk over taking the (crowded as sardines and pricey) water taxis. It was fun to stay in a "non-touristy" neighborhood, and there were several guidebooks and maps in the apartment to help us find our way. Pierantonio's assistant Christine was very helpful, even texted us a couple days before we arrived to warn us about a transportation strike that could have impacted our travel plans. And due to the strike that shut down the water taxis, Christine, Pierantonio and his son met us at the train station and carried our luggage over several bridges to get to the apartment. We were grateful for the help and loved every minute in Venice. Be sure to check out the bakery next to the nearest square to the apartment, the pastries are amazing! And be sure you have GPS capabilities on your phone, it is a lifesaver in navigating Venice's "streets!"
