Welcome to the cozy little room with your own bathroom on a separate floor. And as the first guests perfectly put it: “It's a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle but is still close enough to be right in with the action.”

Interaction with Guests
based on mutual interests :)
It's historical, quiet - good place to retreat to after a day of Manhattan! It's close to all places in the city
Quite a few trains and buses!
Other Things to Note
We have two friendly, curious and energetic cats, Xuxa and Vasya. Hope you're cool with animals! :)
Boris and Paola were very welcoming. Their place is awesome and their cats were so sweet! The subway station is closeby the house so that was good too!
The loft is so special! We both like the cats and the old piano in the house. Boris and Paola are very nice and easy-going. We had a great time in their house.
My girlfriend and I stayed with Boris and Paola for five nights, they provided everything we needed and the second floor of the apartment was entirely for us.
The apt and the bedroom are exactly as they are shown in the pictures. The location is not perfect but it is located two blocks away from the subway, so you can get everywhere from there.
They are great people and will be contacting them without any doubt the next time I go to NYC.
The place was great, Boris and Paola were both very nice. The neighbourhood is rather calm and the apartment is close to several subway stations so you can easily move anywhere you want. We highly recommend it! If we have the opportunity to go back to NYC we would be glad to book for this place again!
We had a great week in New York staying at Boris & Paola's apartment. It was really nice having our own floor which often made it feel like we had our own space. The room is small however it was fine as we spent all day exploring New York and only came back to sleep anyway. Because you have the whole floor, you can utilise the space outside the room for bags, shopping etc which was great. Having our own bathroom was fantastic as well. Although we didn't see them very often, they were lovely hosts and quick the respond to any questions we had. The apartment is close to a subway, however keep in mind that it is 2 separate lines from Manhattan. However, the surrounding Brooklyn area is very interesting as well. Overall a great small Brooklyn space, with easy access to public transport and good cafés. Additionally their two cats are really cute.
Boris is an excellent host and always made sure that everything was OK and that I had everything I needed. Only issue was the room is much smaller than it appears in the photos. I am 6'3 and had to hunch over in the bedroom, hallway and bathroom. It's not really an issue, but it does look bigger in the photos.
