A cozy modern space in the wild of Montana. Fully equipped to cook any meal you dream while living right in nature. Perfect for a couples getaway or a whole family adventure. I would say it is suitable for up to 4 adults or 2 adults with up to 3-4 children. Our property is 10 acres with a creek. From the airstream there is a path down to what we call “secret beach”. You can use our tubes to float it. Situated just 40 miles from the N entrance of YNP, 20 mins to Livingston and 30 mins to Bozeman.

The space
Clean simplicity. You will have everything you need while having close access to all of Montana’s wonders. The Airstream is clean and modern. It has a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, a dinette, a sofa, a queen bedroom and a bunk nook with a twin above a full. It is off grid so it has solar to supply some electricity for charging phones and an occasional movie but certainly not enough to run the air conditioning (which most houses in Montana don’t even have anyway.) The 50 gallon water tank will be filled to capacity with our fresh spring water. We can always refill it but you should know you will need to be mindful with your usage.

This is the place for you if you are looking to unplug as there is no cell service. There are books to read, a creek to tube or splash in, a fire ring and outdoor seating, games and so many adventures to be had. Plus! Prepare yourself for the best night sleep of your life. It’s magical.

5 miles to the Yellowstone River, 1 mile from horseback riding, 40 miles from Yellowstone NP, 20 minutes to Livingston and 30 minutes to Bozeman. Weather you are coming to getaway and plan to hunker down or use the Airstream as your home base while adventuring the surrounding area, you are sure to have a lovely Montana kind of time.

During your stay

Our home is on the property but rather far from where the Airstream is parked. You will have a very secluded stay but are welcome to find us if you need anything at all.
