Lynn & Scott were absolutely WONDERFUL hosts! Their house was cozy and comfortable and they were so incredibly accomodating. Both Lynn & Scott were so friendly and personable and made us feel welcome in their home. They made recommendations for Ann Arbor seeing as though we were first-time visitors. Also - comfortable bed! Maybe one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in! Incredible experience. I would definitely recommend staying with them - I know I will if I ever find myself again in Ann Arbor!
Very welcoming and accommodating of some of my special needs. Nice set up but I am not sure how it would have worked if the other rooms were rented also (I was the only one there).
Street is quiet and out of the way but only 2 miles from campus, synagogue, stadium. I would definitely consider this location again.
Thanks Jonathan! As far as your concern, our policy (as I wrote to you originally) is to only rent the rooms to one group or family at a time just so the bathroom is NOT shared. When you rented the one room I blocked the dates for the other room. So no worries!
Scott and Lynn were friendly and welcoming. When I asked for recommendations for restaurants, they guided me toward a few that were well-suited to my tastes.
Bedroom and bath were clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable!
Neighborhood was beautiful. Walked around the area in the evening and found it to be beautiful and quiet. The garden and landscaping were amazing.
This was my first Airbnb experience and I found it to be more comfortable, cleaner, less "sterile" than the hotels of all types I've staying at over the years. It was an excellent experience and I look forward to more.
Scott and Lynn were super welcoming and gave us tips, the odd bit of help (needed a safety pin), a nice room - all of this when they weren't feeling super well. We were very happy and loved their home and garden in Ann Arbor.
My stay at "Ann Arbor Country in the City" was perfect in every way. The bed and bedroom were very clean, comfortable, and quiet and the bathroom with shower right next to the bedroom was convenient and spotless. The self-serve breakfast was just what I needed and the coffee was some of the best I've ever had anywhere. The beautiful house in this bucolic neighborhood is a short drive from the center of town and all things Ann Arbor. Scott & Lynn were gracious hosts and a pleasure to talk to in the times our schedules intersected. I would definitely stay here again (provided it's not already booked).
I loved staying with Scott and Lynn. They were warm, lovely people and their colorful, eclectic home reflected that warmth. Scott and Lynn were brimming with energy and joie de vive and made me feel very welcome and at home. The bedroom was colorful, inviting and comfortable with lots of pretty pillows and artwork on the wall. They left water and snacks by the bedside which is much appreciated. The breakfast was great--yogurt, fruit, canola and really good coffee-- and we talked for an hour over breakfast like old friends. I intend to go back when I next visit my daughter at University of Michigan.

We are a long partnered couple who have lived in Ann Arbor since 1975. Creating an artful and comfortable home, both indoors and out, is a high value for us. We offer a simple breakfast of granola, raisins, yogurt, coffee and tea. You are welcome to use the fridge for storage. We love our community and will be happy to direct you to local restaurants, outdoor spaces, and any other activities of interest.
