About This Listing
Williamsburg Sublet: South Side.
This is not a share - you get the whole loft.
Fully furnished, unique, comfortable, large, quiet, clean loft with a lot of charm and elegance. Top floor of a classic New York pre-war brownstone with very high ceilings-up to 20 ft. Very special place with Alice in Wonderland charming details and modern comfort. A flood of morning light arrives with the sunrise from East window exposures and amazing sunset views of the sun coming down over the Manhattan skyline from the windows to the West. Upstairs loft bed (loft area-not a stand up room) and downstairs full size couch/ fold back bed inside the loft area that can be curtained off from the main room.
Another bed could be set up for more than 2 guests but I do prefer couples only as it cuts down on the amount of traffic in the hallways for the full time residents.
Ideal for travelers / couples who want a true New York experience. A fun, great, convenient location.
Located in South Williamsburg. Around the corner from some amazing restaurants like Marlow and Sons, Diner, Fatty Cue and Dressler. This is not a brand new building with modern amenities but a unique loft with original deep sink appliances, white enamel stoves and a claw foot bathtub.
Wireless connection is available. Living area with TV/DVD player. Dining area. Office Area with a view of Manhattan. 1 Queen size bed and 1 Full bed. Fully equipped kitchen.
L train and JMZ trains nearby and one stop away from Manhattan.
*** Please note that the current pictures reflect the Winter layout and not the Summer days in which I move the main bed downstairs. This would be located where the white couch is located and the second bed will only be set if needed.
A $100 one time cleaning fee applies for periods of 7 days or more- to be paid upon arrival. Security Deposit T.B.D. will be required on or before check-in. Check IN time is negotiable but Check OUT time is noon and bags can be arranged to be held until needed for flight. If there is not a booking on the same day of departure than Check OUT time is also negotiable.
No Smoking Preferred- Balcony you can smoke on or outside in the front foyer.
We stayed at Young's apartment for 4 nights, it was as shown, very close to everything, spacious and clean. Whilst we didn't meet Young, she was very easy to communicate with. Less than 10 mins walk to the Marcy subway, or 12-15 mins to Bedford. Overall a great experience
Young reacted quickly to our messages and it was easy to get access to the appartment. The interior is stylish and light and resembles the description completely. It is situated in a sidestreet off Broadway (Williamsburg) within a couple of blocks from subway and all the new hipster shopping/café streets. As a family of 4 I can fully reccommend this accommodation.
We had a wonderful time coming to Brooklyn and a big part of the was finding this perfectly located spot to stage our adventures and rest when they were through. The listing really describes it perfectly -- open and airy, the floor to ceiling white wash and the full length windows make the whole place glow with daylight. Young was a pleasure, and a very helpful host. She has much of the info you'll need provided in a booklet when you arrive, and was immediately available when contacted.
We had four wonderfull days in New York. The apartment was very nice and has it's unique style. There is everything you need and Young was a great host. If you want to feel like living in Brooklyn and not being in a hotel, Youngs apartment is a very good choise. Best greetings from Germany - Claudia
