  • Manuel's apartment was a great place to stay right in the middle of the charming town of Arles. We had visited Arles previously just for a day and it was good to have a few days this time to explore the museums and monuments as well as a bus trip into the Camargue.
We really appreciated being met and welcomed by Manuel at the station on our arrival. The apartment was perfect for our needs and the roof terrace was a bonus even in February!
    Highly recommended.

  • Manuel's studio apartment exceeded our expectations, partly because it's cosier than the photos would suggest, even though it's spacious. Very well equipped and comfortable, and a beautiful well-designed attic conversion. We had no trouble at all with the three flights of stairs in spite of being oldies. The location is fantastic, excellent restaurants just round the corner - La Querida and the Botega especially good, quaint streets through which to step back in time, five minutes from the fantastic open air market twice weekly, and no more than half an hour from loads of interesting stuff in all directions. No probs with parking once we were shown where - five minutes walk away. We stayed for just over two weeks. Manuel cares and it shows. 5 stars.

  • The most perfect flat, Manuel has created a beautiful ambiance, great sound system even a guitar :). Little touches like lovely wine glasses and everyday kitchen essentials already stocked up are really wonderful touches.
Bed was really comfy and quiet. Bathroom was gorgeous.
Flat couldn't be better located as right in the centre.
Would stay again and again. It's a place I'd buy
Thank you for making a lovely week perfect

  • I spent 5 days in the cool Arles apartment. The kitchen was great, you really could cook a meal there. All the equipment was there and even some basic food staples like olive oil, spices pasta. It could easily sleep 3-4 people. The roof top patio is cool but small. Manuel was easy to work with and available if there was a question. If you are going to be in Arles stay here.

  • We stayed in Manuel's beautıful apartment ın Sept 2013. We rang Manuel when we arrived ın the cıty, and arranged a meeting point. He then came wıth me to direct me to the free parkıng areas nearby, beside the river. We were welcomed wıth a complimentary bottle of wıne. The apartment was very clean and well presented, just as shown in the photos. We enjoyed the roof top terrace. Manuel is very generous host. The kıtchen was stocked wıth all sorts of goodies, and 2 coffee machines available to use. Wıfı was great. Good idea to bring ear plugs for the street noise however. There can be noise at night since there are numerous cafes and restaurants ın the vicinity. The apartment itself is on the 3rd floor. So be prepared for the 40 steps up! However, overall this is a beautiful apartment, probably the best we stayed at ın our 6 week journey through varıous countries. We recommend it highly.

  • Manuel's apartment was absolutely fantastic. The amenities that he provided along with the renovations that he did to the place made my husband and my time in Arles even more relaxing and enjoyable. The rooftop terrace, something that I did not even really pay attention to when booking the apartment, was like icing on a cake. My husband and I spent many evenings sipping wine while watching the sun set and we both miss those Arles' nights already!

Manuel is also an attentive owner. He generously picked us up from the train station and even left a chilled bottle of rose wine! We were very pleased with our experience and I think that we loved Arles more for it.

  • Manuel has created a charming modern apartment on the top floor of an historic building in the heart of the old city of Arles. It had everything we needed for our 6 day stay. The whole apartment is beautifully designed with a large living room, terrific kitchen and bath, and very comfortable bedroom. There is also a rooftop patio with a view across the city to the Rhone river. It is close to everything, located on one of the main historic streets through the town, very close to the Roman sites and only a 15 minute walk from the train station. There is an excellent wine bar around the corner as well as an outdoor cafe. Manual recommended several restauruants, our favorite was an outstanding Vietnamese just 10 minutes away. There were some problems with cable TV reception, but Manuel was working with the cable company to correct the problem. There was some street noise at night from the cafes, but that is to be expected in the heart of a city. We didn't mind the 4 flights of stairs (40 steps total), but it might be a problem for some people. Also, the stairs to the roof are like steep attic stairs or going up a ladder. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Manuel and his mother who greeted us on our arrival with a really good bottle of wine. We give Manuel and this apartment our highest recommendation.

  • Manuel's apartment was our favourite Airbnb rental of all time. Don't think about it, just book now! It's an amazing space, a very modern, well-designed and comfortable apartment in a beautiful 400 year old building. The apartment is spotlessly clean. The living and dining areas are spacious, and cooled by very effective air con. There's a huge comfy couch, a big TV, stereo system - everything you need to relax after exploring the sights of Arles (which are right at your doorstep). The kitchen is very well equipped, with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and cooktop. The bed is comfy and it's quiet at night. The bathroom has a rainfall shower, and beautiful stone benchtops. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to start the day with a croissant and coffee (and watching the Bastille Day fireworks was unforgettable!). There are a few flights of stairs to climb (the apartment is on the third floor), but it's worth it! Lots of cafes, restaurants and boulangeries in the area. We were able to find ample free parking in Rue Leon Blum. Manuel was a welcoming and helpful host. It is obvious that he had put a lot of care and thought into the design and comfort of his apartment. Thanks so much!

  • Loved this apartment! It was well located in Arles and close to everything. Manuel kept in touch and met us at our car to show us the apartment. It has everything you could need, the shower and bed were very comfortable.
We would definitely stay there again.
