This was perfect for our visit to W-S! Super easy communication and check-in. Stayed there with my husband and 2 year old (she slept in a pack-n-play which fit perfectly in the bedroom.) It was great to be able to put her to nap/bed and still have a comfortable place to stay up. Loved the location - central to so many good restaurants. Would love to come back and stay when it's a bit warmer and the temps actually get above freezing so we can explore more on foot from here!
The apartment was in a great location for us, walking distance to the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. There is plenty of space; we were 3 adults for 4 nights and were very comfortable. We arrived very late (midnight) and were met at that late hour and showed to the apartment.
Loved the apartment, it was exactly what I was looking for! Communication was quick and seamless. If you are in Winston Salem and want to stay in downtown this is a perfect choice.
A lovely, comfortable and clean apartment. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner there!
Definitely able to walk downtown and enjoy delicious restaurants, also very convenient parking at the apartment.
We would definitely return on another trip to Winston Salem.
My stay could not be better - good location, excellent service. Thank you!
I was in town for a long weekend - four of us: me, 18 month old, 6 yr old, and mom. the building is great - took me back to an apartment i had in Berkeley 20 years ago. Fold-down ironing board in the kitchen (I didn't use it.) Location great, easy parking, they even let my sister pick up the keys since we were arriving late. Everything was clean, we were happy and would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at Eddie and Kay's charming apt for 10 days in August: my husband and I, plus our 29 yr old daughter (on the spacious couch). The bed was very comfortable, decor was in keeping with the charm of the building, check-in was easy and both Eddie and his local rep were more than accommodating.
Great location, within easy walking distance to downtown, as well as the charming) West End shops and restaurants just down the street; wonderful to have free parking so close to "everything."
Would highly recommend this apt to anyone looking for spacious quarters near downtown, with gracious hosts.
Another enjoyable stay. Construction across the street was a bit noisy as were the upstairs neighbors, but they kindly agreed to be more quiet for future stays here. Took me a while to add my feedback, but I wanted to make sure I did, as this is a great place to stay, and so close to downtown!
The Grey Court apartment was perfect for our needs! Eddie and Kay make sure to have a really nicely decorated, clean apartment, complete with all the gorgeous historic details one would expect in a building built in 1920. We loved the location - easy to walk to restaurants and get to downtown. Check in was super easy! The next time we are in Winston Salem we will definitely be coming back!
My husband, my son, and I stayed here for a week while we were looking for a place to live. We had a fabulous time there! The decor was great and the furnishings made us feel very comfortable. The location is excellent as it is in walking distance to 4th Street which has many restaurants/nightlife. The owners were great and even had a local contact in case we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!
