What a wonderful accommodation! Not many people match my personal standards of cleanliness, but Margot does. The studio is clean, well-appointed, well-lit and ventilated. The bed and linens are incredibly comfortable, and the studio is exactly represented in the posted photographs - there are no surprises. I especially appreciated the hosts' request that people refrain from using perfume and scented products. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. SO much better than a hotel! Thank you so much.
We had a fantastic experience at Margot's studio! Check in was simple and easy, and the studio was beautiful, just as it appears in the photos. We highly recommend staying at Margot's, and we would definitely consider staying there again on our next trip to Eugene!
Margot greeted us when we got there and made sure we had everything we needed while giving us info about the town. We took a lovely walk through the neighborhood to the local grocery and picked up anything else we needed. It was an absolutely perfect stay..the bed was comfortable, the view of the trees was beautiful, all the little things that made it feel homey were so appreciated.
Hands down best air bnb experience I've had!! Margot's lovely studio is perfect, great bed and linens, reclining chair perfect as a reading corner, tons of natural lighting, great shower pressure, kitchenette that has been thoughtfully stocked with things like truvia sugar packets, granola for the oatmeal, and even home made scones!! All air bnb hosts should model their experiences after what Margot has done with hers! Even her restaurant recommendations are spot on. Thanks Margot!
Super accommodation. Wonderful welcoming hostess and quiet neighborhood . I will book again for sure. The bed is so comfortable and being able to see both the sun set and sun rise was a treat.
Margot is all that you could wish in a hostess. Her love of the outdoors and her down to earth personality create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.
This small but perfectly open retreat is up in the trees and close to the stars.
The studio was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower glorious! Well set up with outlets and good wifi for getting work done, extremely clean and, as the ad says, bright and airy!
Margot was very helpful and accommodating, without being at all intrusive. She stocked the kitchen area with good (organic) coffee and breakfast food (incl. eggs, yogurt, butter, jam, 1/2/&1/2, and homemade scones(!)
Convenient to the U of O and set back in a nice quiet neighborhood.
I enjoyed my stay and will certainly try to stay again when I return to Eugene.
Great place to stay. I found the accommodations clean, big, quite, upscale, great view. Everything works perfectly and wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to anyone.
I'm a retired elementary school principal from Eugene, Oregon. My husband is an architect. One son lives with his wife and young daughter in Brooklyn, NY. Our other son lives in the San Francisco area. Airbnb is a great resource for finding places to stay when we visit our children. We love Eugene, a progressive university town close to the ocean and the mountains, but visiting two vibrant cities is always a pleasure. The diversity, museums, restaurants, and plays are particular attractions. I just love walking in the city, particularly when I'm pushing my granddaughter in her stroller in Brooklyn! Other interests for me include hiking and backpacking, rowing with a crew, reading, movies, theatre, cooking, birding and travel.
