About the Host, Margot
I'm a retired elementary school principal from Eugene, Oregon. My husband is an architect. One son lives with his wife and young daughter in Brooklyn, NY. Our other son lives in the San Francisco area. Airbnb is a great resource for finding places to stay when we visit our children. We love Eugene, a progressive university town close to the ocean and the mountains, but visiting two vibrant cities is always a pleasure. The diversity, museums, restaurants, and plays are particular attractions. I just love walking in the city, particularly when I'm pushing my granddaughter in her stroller in Brooklyn! Other interests for me include hiking and backpacking, rowing with a crew, reading, movies, theatre, cooking, birding and travel.
