Visiting Scotland means you have got to get to Glasgow, Scotland's largest city has all the hustle you will ever need and our Glasgow apartment sits right on the city doorstep.
The apartment is set within an iconic landmark across the Glasgow skyline, Speirs Wharf represents a magnificent piece of industrial heritage. The apartment is 4 minutes by car into the main city square or you can take a ten minute walk to Sauchiehall street.
In 1989 the development was converted from the warehouse building of Speirs Wharf, forming 150 loft-style residential apartments, a private leisure centre, and 19 commercial units. During the 19th Century, Speirs Wharf was at the hub of Glasgow's industrial revolution, with work commencing on the first phase of its development in 1811. The single building at the entrance to the development was built in 1812 as the offices for Forth & Clyde Navigation Co. In 1851, the City of Glasgow Grain Mills & Stores owned by John Currie & Co followed. Subsequent additions followed between 1869 and 1870. Originally the mills had 20 pairs of mill stones and a 100 horse power condensing engine.
Glasgow remains the city of choice in Scotland, the city has a well deserved reputation and is regularly voted the UK shopping destination outside of London. All tastes are catered for, from the more exclusive boutiques of Princes Square and the Italian Centre, to the independent retailers and thrift stores of the West End, and not forgetting the Glasgow institution The Barras Market.
For those with an interest in art, you will be glad to know that Glasgow is home to many galleries and museums, with wide and varied exhibitions, most of which are free to visit.
Music fans will love the vibrant music scene in Glasgow. Live music is a regular feature in many pubs, and the city itself hosts some of the biggest names in the UK and international music scene. Annual festivals are held in the city, including the Jazz Festival and Celtic Connections.
If sports and leisure is your thing, Glasgow is home to Scotland's two biggest football clubs. If you prefer to participate than to watch, there are a number of gyms, leisure clubs, and outdoor pursuits to keep you fit and help you to make new friends.

The flat was in a great location about a 10 minute walk from town yet quiet. Having the canal setting made for a fantastic stay.
The place was very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches which made the stay outstanding and unforgettable.
Also the still of the place made for a really trendy retreat!!
We had originally planned on a 1 night stay in Glasgow as we were travelling over from Edinburgh for a concert but decided to have 2 nights because of an AirBNB promotion. Excellent pre-visit communications from Derek.
Great flat, really warm welcome - literally, the heating was on to get the place nice and toasty! Incredibly clean and fresh, with everything you could need for cooking. Lovely to have a bottle of cava waiting for us, and everything needed to make a cup of tea/coffee. Larger than I'd expected - I'd happily stay for weeks on end! We were so comfy and in need of a break from home life that we spent a lot of the time cooking for ourselves and enjoying a rare chance to watch Sky TV on the huge TV. We're very familiar with Glasgow, but had we been tourists we would have found plenty accessible to us. The flat is right on the canal and in nicer weather we'd have braved a walk! As it was the view was brilliant and the flat far enough from the M8 for the noise to be a gentle hum.
Incredibly comfortable bed, I usually sleep terribly in hotels etc and slept like a log! Good to close the blinds pointing 'upwards', it blocks out a little more light if you like it dark.
Pool area is fantastic, very quiet and peaceful and in great condition. Glad to find plenty of towels and a drying rack in the flat to help with drying swimming gear.
Really convenient for the city centre, we walked from Queen St Station in just over 20 mins, and Cowcaddens subway station is a 10 minute walk away. 10-15 minutes walk away is Sauchiehall St with plenty of shops, including a large Marks and Spencer food hall.
Would definitely recommend staying here, and will use this place again when we need to stay in Glasgow!
A very helpful host, always trying to accomodate the guests in the best way possible! Can only recommend the apartment.
Had a relaxing 2 night stay and this apartment ticks all the boxes. Great location (10 mins walk to city centre), lots of facilities and very comfortable. The flat is fully kitted out with everything you could think of as well as various thoughtful touches throughout. As if that is not enough, access to the communal swimming pool, hot tub and health suite is just the icing on the cake. Great communication from the host prior to and during stay. Highly recommended :)
Superb apartment with everything you need + lots of extras to make your stay special. Made welcome on arrival, including fresh flowers.
Excellent communication from Derek from the moment we booked.Really warm, modern & comfortable. We used the leisure facilities which were a bonus. We also visited Ocho bar for a snack, which was very reasonable. A short walk into the city centre or to the Subway, made it a convenient (email hidden)e only thing we would have liked would have been a small dining table, though in the available space this may not be possible. Have already recommended to our friends & family - we definitely hope to return in the not too distant future. We just loved it ! Thank you.
I could not recommend this apartment more. I took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was the best trip we've ever had, owing largely to Snuggle. The apartment is amazing there isn't one fault I could think of. The personal touches Derek made such as a birthday card and bottle or champagne made the visit even more special. We walked to town everyday which took only 15 mins or a cab was a fiver at night so perfect! I think for us the pool facilities were what made it and for anyone looking for somewhere to relax, explore and live in luxury this is the place to go. We will be back, there's no doubt about it.
Stayed for two nights. Is a nice apartment about 15 mins walk from centre of town. We followed (website hidden) maps from the train station and it took 40-mins. There is a pathway up from the centre of town that you need to find! Otherwise very nice.
Really impressed by the quality equipment within the rented appartement and by the hospitality. Speirs wharf is a lovely residential complex, quite and 15 minutes walk from the city center. The access to the swimming pool and the sauna is a great plus.
Had a fantastic time in Glasgow the apartment is lovely and amenities pool sauna etc were great would definitely recommend and there were lots of added extras when we arrived such as champers !!
Great experience with Derek, the flat had everything we needed. Definitely will be staying in the future. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs a stress free stay in Glasgow, also very close to city centre.
