At RUSTIC ACRES in DECORAH, IOWA reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in a tranquil outdoor setting next to a 25 foot waterfall, spring and creek. Enjoy “Glamping" amenities such as a ready-to-go camper, fire pit, grill, deck seating, tree hammocks and close proximity to local Decorah attractions.

Additional Offers: Kayak rentals, trout fishing on Canoe Creek, hillside to hike on, petting horses, 25-33 Mbps WiFi, and a new viewing deck above the cold swimming hole!

The space
The Hideaway camper is in its own private area on the 7 acre property. 1 other camper is about 100 yards to the east and 1 large resort home is about 300 yards east on the opposite side of the property. The neighbor’s home is about 100 yards to the west.

Guest access
You may access: Your camper, private deck, fire pit with wood for $5/bundle, waterfall (sometimes dries up), private seating area by the creek, spring, volleyball court, basketball hoop, 2 hammocks in the trees along the creek, horse field and most of the grounds. Do not go too close to the other camper or the large resort house as other renters may be occupying them. Please don’t hike up too far on the Rustic Acres hills as they become too steep. Please don't feed the friendly horses while you pet them and always stay in front of them. We have 4 kayaks, oars, and life vests to rent out to our guests, YET YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN ROUND TRIP TRANSPORTATION of the equipment to the Award-Winning Upper Iowa River! $35/kayak. Thank you! - Uncle Jon & Rose

Other things to note
Just have fun and relax! We are country, slow and not high maintenance and we expect you to put on your best low-maintenance attitude while on our property. We are not a hotel/motel where you can complain. We are private owners sharing private land and we expect peace and respect. 🙏🏻😊🚐🪵🔥🪨🌳
