Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Our hosts made our stay in the Coach House seem like a home from home. Their directions and accompanying information were clear and concise. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, comfortable and relaxing with the deck an added advantage in summer. Access to public transport was nearby, with the St. Lawrence Market within walking distance. Also the location provides good access to downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in the Coach House

  • This is the second time that we've stayed in the coach house and it was a great second experience! Luc and Dave are perfect hosts. The coach house is very clean and well maintained. We felt right at home while our condo was being "reno'd". This (email hidden) to stay for a weekend or a week!

  • The Coach House has everything you will need. It is like your own private house in Toronto. It is comfortable to spend time in and well located in the downtown core. Easy access to bus and streetcar and Dundas Square which is the center of the city. A walk to Dundas Street to get the streetcar to the center of Chinatown. Also a walk to Queen Street streetcar to take you to the always interesting Queen Street West. Arrival and departure was simple and it was an enjoyable private oasis to enjoy a business or leisure trip in an apt just a walk from Cabbagetown's Parliament Street. It's a place to stay for a weekend or a week or longer. Feels like home away from home. Thanks for everything Dave.

  • David and Luc were excellent hosts. The apartment was very cozy, easy to find, and personal. If we ever return to Toronto, I'll be contacting Dave first!

  • We had a lovely time at David's place! The apartment is very charming and we felt right at home! Had the weather been better we would have loved to take advantage of the great deck out back! David was very friendly and accommodating - we would definitely stay again! :)

  • The stay was pleasant, directions were clear on how to find the property. Very responsive, we happened to be there when it was quite cold (at least by California standards), with a quick text Dave was able to boost the thermostat remotely. The street is quiet, there is a neighbor above but not noisy at all. Wifi worked best from the bedroom and kitchen area. For some reason wifi didn't pick up from the couch. Situated a block away from a street car stop, with easy to link to the subway downtown, you can access most sites if you don't mind walking a little. If you like eating late night, I would recommend buying food during the day and stashing away in the fridge for later since food options are a bit sparse in the immediate area. Overall a good experience, would book again.

  • The coach is immaculate! It is very well-kept and even though I only met David for a brief moment, he was very welcoming. I hope to return soon.

  • Gorgeous interior - perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple. Well appointed with IKEA furniture. Close to street car and walking distance to downtown.

Sort of in a "up and coming" part of town . . . we never felt unsafe, but some of the areas that you will walk through (if you choose to walk into downtown) are a little shady. Though I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • My first visit to Toronto was made better by the fine accommodations at David's place. Parking was easy and walking to our downtown destinations a breeze. The apartment was truly as described and photographed. Communication was easy as his responses to my questions were timely. As an AirBnB host myself, I can appreciate his effort and integrity. He is to be well recommended.
