Welcome to The Green Tiger OBX, our tastefully appointed home away from home in Nags Head with enough space for up to 10 guests. 3 minutes from private beach access, free beach front parking, seasonal ocean front pool and tennis club. Offering flexible stays year-round, you can book a quick getaway or a week-long family vacation. We even offer 1-night stays!
Our home is right beside Nags Head Links - a renowned, sound side golf course. Just 4.9 miles to Pirates Cove Marina and 12 miles to Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, The Green Tiger makes an ideal destination for your upcoming fishing trip! Looking for a great girl's getaway?! The main level features a large King bedroom suite with plush bedding & sparkling clean attached bathroom. If you enjoy cooking, our kitchen is for you. Just across the hall, you'll find plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and gadgets to prepare all of your favorite meals. Blender, crock pot, food processor, steam pot, crab crackers, cutlery, hand mixer, and more! Open pass-through with bar stools creates the perfect atmosphere for socializing while your food is cooking. Keurig coffee maker & regular coffee pot available. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven with stove top, and dishwasher. Dining area features table for 6 & bar height counter with stools for 4. There is also an outdoor dining table that seats 6. Open living space features a vaulted ceiling, flat screen smart TV, tasteful decorations, and tons of natural light! The sunroom is a quiet space to enjoy your cup of coffee or kick back and read a book. The main level also features secure access to a large private sundeck with comfortable lounge chairs, new outdoor dining table and chairs, and spectacular water views of the golf course. The laundry room and half bath are also located on the main level. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hair dryers, and cooking spices are well stocked for your convenience.
Upstairs includes 3 bedrooms: 1 eastward facing, queen bed, with beautiful glimpses of the Atlantic ocean. Bedroom #2 features 2 twin beds. Bedroom #3 offers a day bed with pull out trundle. All rooms have a flat screen TV with ROKU streaming devices and accounts with Disney+, Netflix, and Amazon Video. There is also a full sized bathroom with tub/shower on the upper level.
The lower level offers guests a unique pirate themed suite as well as fun garage game room. With futon bed, full attached bath, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee bar, this is the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys just a little bit of extra privacy. The lower level also includes a seasonal outdoor shower with hot and cold water, large garage space, and exterior patio/seating area. New Blackstone flat top grill must be rolled outside before using. We hope you'll enjoy a game of cornhole on our new custom boards.
The workout room must be requested prior to booking. For $20/day, we provide our guests with access to surf boards, golf clubs, an elliptical machine, stationary bike, row machine, hand weights and other workout gear, tennis racquets, and beach equipment.
Parking is on the lower level and limited to 4 vehicles. Parking on grass or the street is strictly prohibited. Overflow parking for multiple vehicles, boats, trailers etc. is available so please be sure to message us for more information!
**Please note, the lower level garage, bonus room with bath, and the workout space are separate spaces from the main & upper level of the house. Guests must take exterior stairs to access this area.**
Detailed instructions, directions to included amenities, restaurant and attraction recommendations, and check in/out instructions can be found in our house manual upon arrival.

Guests will have access to entire house, community pool (seasonal), private beach access w/ free parking, tennis courts, and 2 private sound side fishing piers. Nags Head Links Golf Course is open to the public for your tee time!
Paid access to workout room, surf boards, and beach equipment must be requested ahead of booking.
Utility closet, attic & 2 owners' closets are locked and not accessible by guests.
Other things to note
The Green Tiger is right in the heart of Nags Head and offers convenient access to restaurants and shopping. Consider ordering your groceries ahead with InstaCart for added convenience. Grocery delivery services are available!
Linen and towel package is included in the cleaning fee. Initial supply of household basics is provided. This includes 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash bag in each bin, and sample size of dish detergent. Guests are responsible for any additional supplies needed during their stay.
The house manual includes additional details regarding check in/out procedures as well as some of our favorite suggestions for local eateries and activities.
Our home is located in a quiet, residential community surrounded by many full-time residents. Please respect the house rules.
Parking is strictly limited to 4 vehicles. Overflow parking is available at the golf course clubhouse.
Community pool hours are subject to change due to weather, staffing, and special events.
