Copper Ridge Inn is a private guest house on Carlson Farms, a 250-acre working farm. You will love the tranquility of the private lot that the house sits on with views of the farm across the street. The house includes four bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, and several living spaces, including a garage bar (not temperature controlled) (the only TV in the house is located in the garage). The private back yard porch is perfect for relaxing.

The space
In an adjacent lot, but still separate from your home, you are within walking distance of "Karen Sue's," a bakery, cafe, and market also owned by the Carlson family. The market sells meat and eggs from the Carlson Farm. While the bakery has limited hours, weekends are sure to have sweet treats and breakfast items for the whole family.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire home with the exception of the basement. It is a damp and dark "Michigan basement."

Other things to note
Since the space accommodates 15+ people, we simply ask that guests are mindful of the amount of trash and mess that builds up over the course of their stay. There is a dishwasher for loads of dishes and cleaning supplies under the sink for small spills or messes. If guests choose to use the garage bar, we ask that they return chairs and tables to their original places. Please DO NOT relocate beds as this causes the frames to loosen. If furniture must be rearranged, we ask that it be kept in the same room and returned to its original place upon checkout.

Neighborhood highlights

The house sits on a private wooded lot. There are 36 lakes within six miles, so you are just minutes away from amazing vacation and leisure activities! Several of the lakes are remote and perfect for quiet fishing. Others are known for boating, tubing, and jet-skiing. Several local marinas offer rentals, so ask if you need recommendations. You are also 40 minutes away from Kalamazoo, a town known for its amazing restaurants and breweries (some of which serve meats and eggs from our farm). In addition, many breweries and wineries are a 20 to 60-minute drive away, just ask! This space is also perfect for entertaining, but please keep in mind that we do not allow events for anyone other than those staying at the Airbnb.
