Floor to near ceiling windows let you enjoy the waterfront, resident bald eagles, & otters from the comfort of the sofa. BBQ, & roast s’mores under cover at the gas grill & firepit on the deck, overlooking the private lagoon and Hood Canal. Nestled in the woods, it's a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle! Outdoor amenities abound, with a protected lagoon and bay, 5 paddleboards, a rowboat, pickleball court, as well as fire pits and charcoal grills at the beach and the lagoon too.

The space
Fully equipped spacious kitchen. Large living room and dining table with open concept allows you to cook, dine, and recline, all while enjoying the water views. Expansive double sliders that flow out right onto the partially covered deck for easy outdoor entertaining all year round. Main floor bedroom with queen bed, adjacent bathroom, and two basement bedrooms with king beds and an additional bathroom. All 3 bedroom mattresses are high quality for exceptional sleep comfort. Sofa sleepers are also available in the living room for the kids or extra guests. Outdoor deck furniture includes propane grill, picnic table, chaise lounge, large gas fire pit with room for 6, and additional deck chairs and accent tables.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house, the the pickleball court, the wooded 2 acre lot, including one of the largest private collections of Rhododendrons (that bloom in April and May), the lagoon, beach, and plenty of parking for your group and boat parking too. Private use of the rowboat, 5 paddleboards, beach fire pit, and lagoon-side firepit, with charcoal grill, overlooking the Hood Canal. The Pickleball court, & lagoon are shared between our two homes, which are on 5 total acres ( all the area within the 3 rail wooden fence). The tidelands themselves are owned by the community of homes and land parcels on Whitney Road, so the beach has shared access. Both homes were built by Nick's Grandpa & Great Uncle, and are available on AirBnB, for rental together, or separately. Pretty special! We also now have a pet-friendly waterfront AirBnB on 30 acres adjacent to these two homes.

Other things to note
Best time of year to see all the rhododendrons in bloom is April and May

Neighborhood highlights

Fantastic low bank beach access with few neighboring homes makes this really feel like a private retreat. We do have one additional adjacent home, which is available for rentals together to accommodate larger groups, or separately as well. Our two homes are on 5 total acres.
