Dotted along Queen's Road East are a number of excellent rattan and Chinese furniture shops that will happily arrange to have your purchases sent home for you or, for competitively priced clothing, try Spring Garden Lane where stalls offload garments originally earmarked for export. Techies won’t complain about getting lost in the Wanchai Computer Centre on Hennessy Road; a building jam-packed with hardware, software, accessories and other gadgets. And both kids and ‘kidults’ might want to check out Tai Yuen Street; an entire strip of toys touting everything from the latest to the classics.

Eric gave me a very detailed instruction before check in, which helped me save a lot of time and made me feel secured.
The apartment is in the perfect location, very very near to Metro.
Facilities in the apartment are in good condition and again under detailed instruction. I can use them easily.
PROS: Convenient location in central Hong Kong. Really close to the metro station, 7-Eleven right across the street, lots of eateries. Easy self check-in.
CONS: Roaches. We had a big dead roach greet us by the door when we first arrived. From there, we caught two live baby roaches roaming the bathroom. The building itself is very old and dirty. Once you get inside the apartment, it looks nice at first glance. Considering every Airbnb renter pays a cleaning fee, I would have expected the apartment to be cleaner. Budget rentals does not have to mean dirty. For the price we paid, I honestly would have paid a little extra for a cleaner place. Shower door does not close all the way and water leaks onto the floor. Back to back showers could be difficult with a group since water heater must be turned on 20 mins before showering and last about 8 mins.
We six had a good stay there. It is very convenient to go everywhere since it is near the BTS. And Eric and Arish are very good hosts who always answer our questions and try their best to meet our need. We will definitely stay there again if we go to HK next time.
Pros : FANTASTIC location, great price, helpful host and check-in all v smooth. We enjoyed our time in this great part of HK.
Cons : The flat is smaller than it looks in the photos (very snug for 4 of us) and up 7 flights of stairs (you know this before booking so that's ok). The apartment block and common parts are very shabby (there is an alarming looking cluster of wiring above the apartment door !), the whole flat needs a thorough spring clean (inside of food cupboards and fridge yucky and there was a frying pan encrusted with food), the towels/linens/curtains had all seen better days, there was not quite enough in the way of crockery/cutlery and there were no drinking glasses or wine glasses, just 4 mugs which was not enough for 4 of us.
So in summary this flat is great for people on a budget looking for a central location but would benefit from a good clean and an upgrade on linens and kitchen equipment.
Host and staff were responsive and helpful! The only thing I'd say is, remember that it's on the 7th floor, with no elevator. I hate stairs and I did it, but man, I always made sure to remember everything or else face the fact that I'd have to make the trek back up again.
Overall, very central location, super close to the MTR again. There was a 7-eleven right across from us. OH, and on the 1st floor, is a hallway of foot massage parlors! So that was pretty fun. All the walking in HK and walking up and down the stairs, my feet definitely needed to visit the 1st floor.
