  • Marrissa's house is beautiful in a nice quiet area. Marrissa is very nice and also her son Gabe.. She was helpful with the area of Santa Fe and Taos and also made a great breakfast for us so that we could get to know each other... As long as you have a car this place is great!

  • I love to stay in Marissa and Gabe 's house. They are just as kind and friendly as family. I definitely like someday I could stay with them again and again. Keep touch. With love. PPS, I remember the word from Anais Nin, Marissa you write to me, let us be a true woman, brave and full of love to this world. Jing

    Response from Marissa:

Yes, Jing... Let us be a true woman, brave and full of love in this world. Just like you! Marissa

  • Marissa is great and a generous host. My wife ( la cafetera ) remarked that her coffee was the best she had ever tasted from a residence / including ours. Big roomy beautiful bathroom is yours ( her son wasn't there but at times he may be about ) and the bedroom is comfortable w / much closet space. She has generations of legacy built into her advice on recommendations on what to do in her community and where to go ( and good guidebooks, references ) .
    Go Marissa.. Thanks, john

    Response from Marissa:

Thank you, John & Ann - You both were very sweet! It is lovely to see such bonded, loving couples! It inspires me to keep believing in the possibilities the future holds for me. Blessings - I hope to see you again soon. If I am ever in the Pacific NW, I will call you for dinner at the Santa Fe Cafe.
    Best to you both-Marissa
p.s. I would love to see anything you've designed or built!

  • I had a very nice stay at Marissa's. Her place was very clean, and very welcoming. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. It was also nice meeting Marissa. She is very pleasant and very easy to talk to.

I will definitely have this place as my first choice for when I visit Santa Fe in the future.

Thank you for your review!!! I look forward to seeing you in the future.

  • Marissa hosted me during my first month in Santa Fe, and I could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was in a great location, wonderfully decorated, and the amenities were everything I could've hoped for. Marissa was a joy to spend time with and learn about the area, and helped make my transition an easy and supported one. Her son is extremely mature and friendly, and sharing a bathroom and living space was never a problem. I would absolutely recommend staying in this warm and beautiful home with such enjoyable company!

  • Marissa is a knowledgeable and welcoming host who is interested in the arts, culture and history of Santa Fe. I really felt in my element here.

Having been in bath-share situations before, I anticipated that sharing a bathroom might be a bit more of a challenge than it actually was. My "share" mate was virtually invisible.

The house is lovely: exceptionally clean and in a quiet area that's outside the main part of town, yet is easily accessible to everything by car. If you decide to rely on public transportation, it'll take a little extra planning, but the walk to the bus and the ride itself are pleasant.

I think anyone would be happy and comfortable staying with Marissa.

  • From the moment I pulled in the driveway, Marissa welcomed me like a family friend. Her home is comfortable and serene. A wonderful host with a wonderful place -- what could be better! Thank you, Marissa!

  • Great, convenient neighborhood with trails, restaurants and easy access to I-25 and downtown. The house and room were comfortable, with shared and private space. I loved having the windows open and hearing crickets. Marissa and Gabe were friendly and accommodating. Delicious New Mexican peppers and beans. Lots of privacy. Polite, well-behaved, friendly cats. Marissa shared clippings from her herb garden to bring home. Thank you for a great stay!

  • Marissa was warm and friendly and her home was very comfortable. I was in and out a lot but when I was around she was so helpful and interesting; a great conversationalist! I will definitely be staying with her again on my next visit. Also, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to use the trampoline in the back to get some morning exercise in! Don't hesitate to book with Marissa!

  • Wonderful host, wonderful home.... We really did make ourselves at home and almost saw it as a sanctuary from our long weeks of traveling. It was lovely that Marissa did not seem to mind this either. Love.

Native New Mexican woman, single mom of an incredibly fun, talented, & spirited 18 year young man who lives with me part-time. We love music in our house! We listen to music, all types of music. Witnessing my son create his own music has been incredibly inspiring and has been an influence on the way we live our lives. We enjoy movies, live theater and live concerts, photography, art, galleries. Chilling at home is the best! Great food is important to me! It is a pleasure sharing food with friends & loved ones, and with my guests if our schedule allows. Traveling is something we enjoy, we are good at it, and we try to keep it simple. Finding out where the locals like to eat out and what they do in their hometowns intrigues us. In my hometown, Santa Fe, I LOVE showing guests the best restaurants, galleries, night clubs, best local bands, theaters, hiking spots and sharing the possibilities of their Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico visit. The family room, southeast side, is the perfect space for a sunrise meditation! Zumba, walking, leisurely bike rides, camping, sledding, and casual hikes are things I incorporate into my life. But, I've recently become addicted to working out with kettlebells! My motto: Don't reduce your life to a sentence.
