Firefly Farmhouse is a nostalgic getaway for the creative sojourner, families, or those who need to be in a rural yet convenient, safe setting. The 100+ year old home is a true farmhouse, having once been part of a 300 acre farm. Firefly Farmhouse sits on one+ acre in the midst of a pastoral rolling hillside in the Cumberland Foothills. The home was recently lovingly resuscitated by her artist/owner. There are charming vistas and venues both within and without the two-story frame home.

The space
The home showcases artist/owner's paintings and collected artwork. It is perfect for small artist/author retreats.

Guest access
The entire home and property are accessible with two exceptions:
1: There is an old green out building that is in disrepair. For the safety of guests, please keep out.
2: The basement and owner's studio are closed off to store owner's personal items.

Other things to note
Firefly Farmhouse has been lovingly nurtured to bring to you a special experience. I ask that you pass that forward during your stay. In addition to my artwork there are many artistic accessories that are treasures from my world travel and family heirlooms.

Lives in Ormond Beach, Florida
I am a mixed media artist and collaborate with a partner on translating recovered waste polystyrene to an art medium. Because I have a background in Interior Design I also take joy in redeeming properties in need of TLC. I recently restored (always a work in progress!) "Firefly" Farmhouse in Winchester, TN and remodeled Franklin House historic railroad hotel with its adjacent Firefly Gala banquet room with catering kitchen. When I embrace a property I do it lovingly. The two Tennessee properties are recent additions. I also have two rentals in Florida, "IAMART Beach Bungalow" in Ormond Beach and "Grace Cottage Retreat" in De Leon Springs.
