Interaction with Guests
I work a lot, so I'll be able to see you only a few nights a week. But if you want, we can organize a dinner at home or at the restaurant. I can help you find your way in English, French as well as Italian.
The apartment is located halfway between two very close stations on Metro Line A, the main line in Rome: Vittorio Emanuele and Manzoni. A bus stop is right in front of the door on the street.
Rome’s main train station, Termini, is a fiftenn-minute walk. From there, you can get local trains to attractions in surrounding Lazio, or national and international trains as well.

In your room, you will find meal vouchers that allow you to have a pastry and coffee in the morning at a local bar, where, if you wish, you can also buy great coffee roasted on site.

I had a delightful, comfortable stay at Lorenzo's place. The room was spacious and the apartment is very clean - he has a cleaning service that comes in each week.
I was in Rome during the resignation of President of the Italian Republic Napolitano and election in the fourth round of the new President Mattarella. Lorenzo is a journalist for a major weekly TV news broadcast and gave me a "front row seat" to the facinating politics of the transition. He speaks fluent English and French as well as his native Italian and has an interesting grasp of world politics because of his familiarity with British and French politics and culture.
Lorenzo was the perfect host and made me feel at home both with his friendship and by giving me all the important information I needed about his place and the surrounding district to feel like the place was my own.
Staying at Lorenzos flat was Perfect! It was beautiful, comfortable, clean and very Close to the most Common sights! You can discover Rom by foot from his place. Furthermore Lorenzo is a perfect Host! Everything Worked easily and without any Problems. Lorenzo answers all questions quick and gives you a lot of good advices for the visit. Thank you very much for everything! We really enjoyed our visit!
First, location. The apartment is within walking distance, or a very fast one-stop ride on the metro. Two metro stops are less than a 5 minute walk, and provide great access to the Vatican, and northern and southern areas. But because the Rome metro doesn't go into the historic center of the city, walking there takes about 10-25 minutes depending on which place. Shopping is great, with multiple good food markets no more than a 5-minute walk. Restaurants of all qualities are all around. And the area is quite safe.
Second, the apartment. The bedroom has a wonderful mattress, four pillows, lots of storage space, complete privacy, and a window away from the street. The kitchen is complete, with a wonderful coffee-maker, with everything necessary for cooking, though sometimes a bit untidy. The private bathroom is clean, with a good shower, though the hot water requires a minute or two to arrive. Washing machine works fine and drying is no problem. It is a very good bargain for that location.
Third, the host. His description of the location, the apartment, and himself are highly accurate. He does work an awful lot, and is busy at that work many evenings. But when home, he is always available for any questions, is helpful, and offers interesting background on many aspects of Rome and its society. Fun to chat with and generous, he is a good Airbnb host.
The stay at Lorenzo was perfect. He is very friendly and attentive. The room is quiet and the flat is central. Everything was fine. Grazie, Lorenzo.
Lorenzo's place is PERFECT. It's charming, spacious, clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and has all the amenities you need. Lorenzo as a host is incredibly gracious, interesting, and helpful. He answered all of my questions swiftly, and when Air France cancelled our flight out of Rome, he offered to sleep at his friend's and let us stay in his room! Which is amazing!
+convenient location, +easy-going host, +small breakfast included, +bike-rental next door, everything was fine! I can definitely recommend this place and host
