About this listing
Our apartment is located in the heart of Park Slope, two minutes from the park, ten minutes to downtown Brooklyn, around the corner from the 7th avenue (D/B) express subway station or the (2/3), and next to all the restaurants and bars on 5th avenue and 7th avenue. It's been voted the best neighborhood in NYC by Time Out Magazine!
The apartment has been newly renovated and is filled with light all day long. The bedroom is small (just a bed) but the living space/kitchen is airy and spacious. There's also an additional sleep alcove/loft in the living room with a queen sized bed and private TV and Air Conditioner. The apartment feels like a sanctuary from the busy city life. It's on the top floor and faces the back of a church. You might wake to the chirping of birds!
There's so much to do in the neighborhood alone. You're a short walk to Prospect Park, where you can run, walk, bike, go boating, to the zoo or carousel, and to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Central Library. Right around the corner on 7th ave or 5th ave, you can find restaurants, bars, music venues, cafes, shopping and you name it! And if you feel like leaving the neighborhood, you're also around the corner from the express subway into Manhattan, where you can be downtown in 15-20 minutes.
Everyone who has stayed has loved it and we've had guests return every year.
4 person max (some exceptions).
Lila and her husband were incredibly accommodating. Their home was immaculate, cozy (especially during a New York winter) and was the perfect place for my father. Would def. return when family comes!

Dear Lila & Paolo
We were very satisfied of our stay in your flat which is nice, light-filled, decorated with up to date taste & in a beautiful area.
We'll come again next time.

Lila was very prompt in responding to our request and also to any questions we had once we arrived. She gave us great tips about the neighborhood as well. The apartment was clean and uncluttered. We had fresh bedding and towels in the bathroom. There is an AC in each section of the place and we only used the one in the bedroom during the evening because having the windows open was comfortable enough. Parking was easy and the subway is only a couple of blocks away. Only 5 stops to 34th and Harold Square (about 20 mins). Great restaurants to choose from and all the neighborhood conveniences one could ask for. Thanks Lila!!!
We really enjoyed our stay in Lila's apartment. It was comfy, clean and well appointed (and stylish too - we took away a few ideas for our own flat). It's also in a fantastic area, with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop nearby. Transport connections are great too. Couldn't fault it!
Lila's apartment was very nice. bright and spacious. Very quiet environment, close to public transport. The apartment was exactly the same as the pictures presented as follows.
Lila was a very reactive and particularly considerate host
I highly recommend this host and I hope to enjoy this apartment during an upcoming trip to NY.
Again thank you for this welcome.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Lila's for 4 nights, and we absolutely loved it. As mentioned in the apartment description, the bedroom is small, but it's so comfortable, very quiet and cozy! And the living room is exactly like in the pictures, full of light, spacious with a very nice kitchen. Lila is also a great host, was super responsive and always made sure we had what we needed. She even left us some space for clothes in the closet. We'd definitely stay there again and recommend the place and the great host to anyone.
