Luxury 7 bedroom chalet available fully catered with transport during the winter season!

The Space

Please note that during the winter months of the ski season this chalet is normally only available fully inclusive. This includes airport transfers from Geneva, in-resort transfers and full catering. If applicable these services will be quoted for on enquiry.

This beautiful chalet has 7 bedrooms including 3 double bedrooms (1 ensuite, 2 with basins), 2 double/twin attic bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 triple bedroom and 2 modern bathrooms (1 with bath). The heart of the chalet is a massive sitting/living/dining/party room with large flatscreen TV, our huge music and movie collection, English TV, a fully equipped bar, free wireless internet throughout and a central open fireplace

French doors lead onto 2 floors of balconies, with STUNNING views of The Mont Blanc Massive south and Le Brevent/Flegere chain north, an 8 seat jacuzzi bubbling away on the decking and a heated ski and boot room in the basement.

Winter or summer the mountains are magical places and few more so than the ones around Chamonix and Mt Blanc. If you're into your action sports then there's an endless supply of year round entertainment; skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, mountain biking, ice and rock climbing, rafting, mountaineering and more recently speedriding, basejumping and fly suits.

In the winter, snow sports are quick to learn and offer thrills and comedy spills from your first lesson to your first proper powder run. It is probably no wonder that for a huge number of our clients the yearly ski trip is a permanent fixture in the annual holiday calendar.

In summer the valley really comes alive with walkers, bikers, climbers and anything that can take to the air. Chamonix is actually busier in August than it is in February a pretty unique position for a ski town.

Charles Dickens described the Chamonix Valley better than I ever could when he said in 1846: “Mont Blanc and the valley of Chamonix, and the sea of Ice, and all the wonders of the most wonderful place are above and beyond one's wildest expectation. I cannot imagine anything in nature more stupendous or sublime.”

Getting around

The chalet is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix, 50m from the free local bus stop and 100m from the train station.

  • We were a small group of 6 and welcomed the extra space after spending some time in a relatively cramped apartment in Dublin. We drove in from Switzerland as dusk fell and our jaws dropped as we arrived in town and took in the indescribable scenery. The Chalet was very large, comfortable and well-furnished. The kitchen was well-supplied and the Wi-Fi was reliable. We had Wi-Fi issues throughout our trip through Ireland so reliable Wi-Fi was greatly appreciated. I can't even begin to describe the views from our bedroom windows. I didn't want to sleep in and set my alarm every morning so that I could appreciate the sunrise. Pictures do not do this Chalet justice. We were met by Ryan who was magnificent and answered all of our questions and provided us with helpful advice and tips. I am not a very active outdoorsman and was worried about what there was for me to do in the area. I shouldn't have worried. We went paragliding and utilized the cable cars daily. The town was just a short walk away. There was a charming hotel down the road called Le Vert that had Irish, English and Scottish staff that were warm and friendly. I don't speak French and the hotel restaurant and bar were a big part of the success of the trip. We spent parts of every day (and night) there. The closeness to Italy was a big plus too and we had a wonderful day trip to Courmayer on the Italian side. Let me reiterate that we were blown away by this rental. An indescribable location, tons of space, well-furnished, helpful and accommodating owners and tons of things to do even for those who do not speak French and are not very physically active. I give this place 10/10, A+++. Will return. Amazing value and a trip of a lifetime.

  • Wow! What an incredible long weekend we had in Chamonix! Couldn't have asked for a better experience, the weather was fantastic, the snow conditions were amazing, our last two days were glorious powder days in the sun.

Giles and the staff at the chalet are wonderful and so accommodating (George is the man). They picked us up from the train station free of charge and were very helpful in helping us navigate the buses to the hill each day (we opted out of the resort transfers but if I were to do it again, I would have gotten the resort transfers).

I cant say enough good things about the catering option they provide. The food was incredible and only out done by the friendly service. A lovely couple Ryan and Flo cooked us breakfast and dinner each day which was a culinary experience to be remembered and even took care of all the dishes! We were also surprised the first morning to wake up to a spotlessly cleaned chalet, we were unaware that house keeping was part of the package!

The Chalet itself is beautiful. Can easily and comfortably accommodate 17 people (we only had 14 but there was plenty of room). There is lots of place to streatch out and relax after a long day on the mountain, the main living / dining room area is very spacious and inviting. There is also an amazing long deck you can sit out on in the sun in the late afternoon if you want to soak up the last rays of sunshine of the day. Or you can retreat down below into the relaxing Jacuzzi they have.

I would recommend this Chalet to anyone. Great location, great Chalet and wonderful host.

  • The Chalet is in a great location, clean with tasteful decor. There were three families with very young children all under the age of 5. Giles and Jason were very accomodating and helpful in answering all our questions. Highly recommend this place!

  • Lovely chalet, sparklingly clean, it has everything you need, a vast kitchen with lots of utensils, lots of bathrooms, plenty of thick fluffy towels, well stocked with soap cleaning liquids etc quality white sheets and duvets... but the best thing is the beautiful view... hot tub to watch the stars above mont Blanc. I would certainly highly recommend this chalet Barnaby is a great host always on hand to answer any questins and recommend restaurants etc.

  • We (two families with kids of ages 3-7) were visiting the Chalet on 8/2012.

The Chalet is beautiful! The views of the Mont Blanc are stunning and are visible from everywhere in the house.

The big kitchen is very well equipped, even for big meals, and the dining area is very pleasant.

The rooms were very comfortable, nicely decorated, and clean.

The mt. Blanc facing hot-tub was a great experience.

The Chamonix area is beautiful with many activities and attractions. We enjoyed the this visit a lot and plan to visit again.

Giles and Barney were very kind and helpful right from the start, and gave us very helpful tips and advice for sight seeing and activities in the area.

Overall a great experience, we recommend if whole heatedly.

    Group Riemer/Baruch.

  • The chalet was great. The house is walking distance to town and has beautiful views of Mont Blanc. Also, the kitchen is large and great for preparing large meals. During our stay the hot tub and speaker system were broken. If these items are important to you, you should inquire before booking.

  • Our stay was amazing. The Chalet was very comfortable and handy for the whole team of 12 people. The view was amazing too. We also enjoyed the barbecue at night. We would recommend the Chalet to anyone looking for renting a place in Chamonix.

About
I am a partner with 2 other friends in a small independent holiday company called FTX Holidays which we have been running together since 1999. We offer holidays in Chamonix-Mt-Blanc, France and Porto Pollo, Sardinia, Italy. At least 1 of us is in Chamonix at all times and in Porto Pollo from mid April-November so although we don't live in the apartments/chalet listed here we are always on hand to help out in any way we can. I am passionate about the mountains and the sea and spend as much of my free time as possible skiing, snowboarding, biking, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, wakeboarding, sailing and surfing. I am always more than happy to share the 10+ years of local knowledge in these 2 very special places i'm lucky enough to call home.
