My daughter stayed there for one month and was very satisfied. Elizabeth was very helpful. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and well located. She will certainly come back.
The Farnam Guest House turned out to be very picturesque and completely worth it. The room I stayed in was small but very cosy and comfortable (it was the one with the rightmost dormer window). The shared bathroom was immaculately clean and always available. It's in a very peaceful neighborhood with what I think were grad students and their families walking around. I loved staying here!
I stayed at Farnam Guest House for one month while working at Yale. The house is quiet, comfortable, and clean. The Yale Shuttle stops just in front of the house, making it very easy to get to downtown New Haven. I would recommend it without hesitation.
Elizabeth was a very kind and thoughtful host. She was there at the time agreed upon, she made me breakfast at 7am even though her house rules ask for it to be after 7:30am. She would always make sure that I was okay but also give me my space. The house was always clean and warm, and is appropriate for someone who wants a quite place to stay.
The location is convenient because the Yale Shuttle is just across the street.
I had a wonderful time. Very friendly environment. Beautifully kept place. Strongly recommend this place!
The reservation was canceled 114 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Catherine was a nice and communicative host. She responded promptly to my request, and it is a tastefully decorated house. The breakfast was lovely with a good spread of fruits, croissant, eggs, bacon, coffee and tea. It is slightly outside of downtown and close to two miles from yale and few restaurant around. However, the Yale Shuttle is across the street, so made it accessible to downtown in 8 minutes.
