Downtown Loft for short-term rental

Apartment - Entire home/apt · S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA 90014, United States

The Space

Located in the heart of Downtown, this building was originally built in 1917. It was completely restored with new plumbing, central air and heat, and heat resistant windows two years ago.
This place is 3 blocks from Ralph's grocery store, 2 blocks from the Los Angeles Public Library, 2 blocks from Pershing Square Park (Farmer's Market every Wed.), and 6 blocks from (email hidden) Cinemas. The location is also less then a mile from the (phone number hidden), and 5 Freeways. It is truly in the center of any place you will be going from here.

I have a 1,400 sq. ft. loft in Downtown LA. It has wood floors, concrete exposed 18ft. ceilings, exposed brick and whitewashed walls. The entire face wall of the loft is all windows so there is an abundance of light all day long.

There is an island stainless steal kitchen and a full bathrooms.

All the furniture in the loft is dark stained teak wood from Thailand along with a bohemian mix of fabrics and books, plants and trees. There are towels, sheets, a memory foam mattress, dining flatware, a washer & drier, dishwasher, wifi, a flat-screen with Apple TV installed and sooo much more.

All you need is your clothes and a toothbrush.

The rooftop has a garden, BBQ grill and sun-deck with lounge furniture for all to use. That is the perfect place to have guests and it is open for all tenants in the building (but there is seldom anyone ever there so it is very much private most nights and days).

The loft does NOT come with parking, however, there is ample parking on the street on the weekends and there are overnight lots within a block radius that cost $6 per night.

There is security during all evening hours and a giant parking lot next door so any guests you may have will always find parking.

Only serious inquiries please. I have less then two weeks to rent this place.

Small dogs are welcome.

  • I am so lucky to have found such a beautiful place. It seems like every object in this loft is a part of the owner, and I feel so happy to be able to stay in this artistic and inspirational space, as well as to know its wonderful owner, Juliette.
Juliette is kind, friendly and helpful. We had a great chat about art and travel. I wish I could stay longer in her loft full of life! I really enjoyed the experience.

  • Great apartment and great location! Juliette is so nice and welcoming, and the apartment has everything you need & is quite homey. Finding parking wasn't so bad for a downtown location, but you have to drive around a bit for parking and get up in the morning to pay the meter of you end up on the street. Otherwise loved this Airbnb stay!

  • Juliette's loft was lovely and Juliette was an amazing hostess.
We felt right at home from the first day. Always dreamed of staying in a loft and this experience delivered.

Extremely conveniently located and all amenities included.

The building is very friendly - great neighbors and a dog lovers paradise.
I wish we could go back to visit, if only to visit the roof top space!

Recommend to anyone wanting to experience real LA downtown living!

I am a producer, writer, and actor. I produce and manage events and projects. I work with acrobats, dancers, lighting engineers, photographers, and film makers to create projects that are dynamic and thoughtful. I travelled for many years before I landed in Los Angeles, and I continue to pursue that life as long as it takes me. My place in Los Angeles I love very much and I appreciate people who care about their home, and are also looking to have a different experience in this city then is most frequently seen as "Hollywood". Downtown is a very urban and open lifestyle. You walk everywhere, most great places are just around the corner. If you work down here then you will find that you won't ever leave, unless you drive to the beach. Approx. 25 min. in mid day to travel.
