The Space

private space with, shower, TV, wi fi, tea making facilities, hair drier.the room comprises a small double with a single below, so could sleep up to three. We are 5 minutes to Polhawn Fort,a popular wedding venue and close to the charming fishing villages, of Cawsand and Kingsand. The property is situated directly on the south west coast path, so great for walkers and, there are beautiful beaches at Whitsand Bay. Rame Head is a spectacular location, and the Coastguard cottage although humble has an aesthetic appeal. Simple, vegetarian meals using home grown produce can be pre- booked. There is a good taxi service, buses run from the bottom of the road, approx half a mile. I am a mosaic artist and tutor.

  • Georgie has created an enchanted space (and garden) on this glorious headland. She has a great sense of colour and form. The weather was better than expected and son, Max, and I had great walks along the cliffs, barely meeting another soul and with the constant thrum of the waves. The whole peninsula is lovely and the ride over on the ferry lovely - years fell away.
I'm sure I'll come back and next time will ask Georgie for one of her lovely suppers (as well as her delicious breakfasts).

  • Georgie was very welcoming and friendly. The room was exactly as in the pictures with a warm feel to it. The location was great with lovely views from the garden, ideal to watch the sunset. Also very close to Whitsand Bay so we could enjoy the beach.
I would be glad to go back!

  • This cozy hermitage was an amazing place to stay! It is a bit out of the way from Plymouth and had to take a taxi to get there the first time, but after we found our bearings we realized how lucky we were to find such an amazing location with a very welcoming host.

My friend and I stayed here for a nearby wedding, but this location is also great for a get-away in the country. There is a coastal trail nearby with amazing views and a few little towns dotted around. We enjoyed just exploring the area, walking around, and drinking at the local pubs.

The guest room is actually separate from the house with its own toilet and shower, which is nice so we could come and go freely as needed. Georgie is a very warm and charming host who makes delicious breakfast and knows a lot about the surrounding area. She was very kind and made us feel very welcomed.

I highly recommend this location and would stay there again if I am ever back in the area.
