The J & O Guesthouse was built in the early 1900s and has undergone significant additions and renovations to make it a very comfortable home. Two large living rooms, two bedrooms are waiting for you near the center of Spray. Just bring your own food and kick back for a pleasant stay. We are happy to share our extra house with you and hope you enjoy it. The views in Wheeler County are spectacular and there is fantastic fishing, hunting and the nearby John Day Fossil Beds and Painted Hills.

Spray is a pretty quiet little town and takes no time to walk the entire length. There is the Lone Elk Market which opens early and sells breakfast, lunch & very early dinner as well as a few groceries and gas. Enjoy the Spray Pioneer Museum and the two city parks. The Spray Riverfront Park on the John Day River at the south end of town is quite popular and has the old swimming hole where all us "old timers" learned to swim. It also has a boat launch.
