Our cozy guest house has been completely remodeled and is ready for action! Lots of natural light, custom woodwork, and salvaged items make this space extra unique. The main floor has a kitchenette, living area with a pull out couch, and full bathroom. Head up to the loft to relax in the queen bed. Our place is in the heart of Rosewood where you can walk or bike easily to the grocery store, several parks and bars/restaurants. Downtown Columbia and USC's campus are both less than 3 miles away.

The space
This is a storage space that was a dingy shell before we got creative with it during the beginning of the pandemic. We tore out the ceiling to create a sleeping loft on the second floor with vaulted ceilings. There is a small kitchen with a cooktop, toaster oven, sink, not to mention the handmade wood countertops. The living space is tucked away with a pull out couch you can use while watching TV. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet closed off with a custom barn door (made with wood from the demo upstairs!). This space has been a labor of love that we put a lot of care and thought into. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The whole place is yours! Includes parking in the driveway or street. We are next door and happy to help if any needs arise.

Other things to note
We are a family living next door and have kids. Sometimes you'll hear us in the backyard. Feel free to come and say hello!

Neighborhood highlights

Rosewood is a gem of Columbia. Many folks here have lived in "The Wood" for decades. We have fallen in love with walking the tree lined streets, waving at neighbors, and being able to bike downtown and Five Points. Publix and our local watering hole, The Hangar, is a short walk away. Rosewood Dairy bar is also dangerously close to our house. Festivals happen throughout the year and always bring us the sense that Rosewood is a thriving community.

We are a family that is dedicated to creating community. You could say we are people-people. We love people. We want to foster fun and positive relationships with the folks in this world. Dustin teaches in the Theater Department at UofSC. (He's an actor/filmmaker). Sadie is a photographer and a doula. (She's also a mama). We are sort of artistic hippies constantly encouraging each other to take risks. We have three boys, Amos, Guthrie, and Anatole.
