Thank you for your warm welcome to Omagh. We had a wonderful time at your cottage, it really is amazing and in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed our walks around the area and exploring the surrounding locations that you suggested, which were perfect. You certainly helped to make our visit to Ireland memorable.
Charming and beautiful Irish cottage!! Upon our arrival we found a vase of fresh flowers, bread, jam, fresh fruit, and wine placed on the table by our gracious hostess, Catriona. She even had started a peat fire in the fireplace! After a long day of traveling it was so comforting to us. Catriona was as charming as the cottage and very knowledgeable of great places to visit on our trip. Definitely the best beds we have slept in since using Airbnb!!
What an amazing place! Catriona and Martin made us feel so welcome, and the cottage felt like home - albeit a more tidy and beautifully decorated home! Our son loved feeding the rabbit, birds and chickens and collecting the eggs. The cottage has everything you could imagine needing, and is a short stroll to the shop, pub and excellent cafe (which is open late and does take away if you don't feel like cooking). We've had such a relaxing time here, and would love to come back in the future. Thank you!
Catriona had bread, wine,
Fresh eggs, and fruit waiting for us along with a peat fire going! The cottage was just exact ally as listing- right down the the red kettle on the stove! The location was quiet and relaxing, near enough to Omagh to find restaurants and remote enough to appreciate the beauty of Ireland. Catriona's family was alao helpful when we had rental car problems.
Very charming, very clean and quiet cottage, with a lovely kitchen and a spacious bathroom. One feels very welcome in this house. We loved the homebaked bread!
Fantastic place. We immediately felt at home and relaxed in the kitchen over a bottle of wine. Cosy! Close to the pub and store.
We had a wonderful time at Catriona and Martin's cottage. Catriona was a lovely hostess, and her, Martin and their entire family made us feel very welcomed during our visit. The cottage was warm, roomy and comfortable, with all the amenities necessary for our stay. The freshly made bread and eggs from the chickens onsite made for a lovely breakfast, and the newly opened café was perfect for when we didn't want to cook breakfast or lunch. And the pub down the street was perfect at the end of a day for a pint of Guinness.
The cottage is a perfect spot to base a trip in the County Tyrone area, as well as Derry and Belfast areas.
