Welcome to The Boathouse #8 of The Lodge at Creekside Condominiums

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Boathouse. We sincerely hope you enjoy your visit with us. The cottages at the Lodge at Creekside Condominiums are each independently owned and operated but we
all share in the use of common spaces such as the fire pit and creek landing. To ensure that everyone has a peaceful stay in this lovely place, please review the following community information.

Definition of Boathouse "guests" :
persons who have paid for a stay at the Boathouse and whose names are on the Air BnB rental reservation. Maximum guest capacity 4 people. No children under 12 years old. No pets. No exceptions.

House Rules
⁃ Check in time: 3:00pm
⁃ Check out time: 12:00 noon
⁃ Please treat this house as you would your own home.
⁃ An additional fee will be charged for damages or if excessive clean-up is required.
⁃ Please place trash inside the large green container located near the rear entrance. If trash cans are not next to the cottage, they may be located at the street for pickup so you can find them there.
Do not leave trash in the house when you check out due to odors. And don’t place loose bags of trash outside as we have wildlife that would enjoy it and make a mess.
⁃ We are not responsible for items left behind. Please double check all rooms before you leave.
⁃ All towels, linens, dishes, etc. are inventoried. Any missing items in the house will be charged to you.
⁃ Please don’t take white bathroom towels to the creek for swimming. There are old ones in the washer/dryer closet.
⁃ Please don’t sit on the furniture with wet clothes. It will make water marks.
⁃ Make sure to turn off all lights, coffee maker, t.v., etc. when you leave.

⁃ To keep Lodge boats in good working order for all to use, boats must remain in deep water only and not be taken into the Falls (upstream) or below the dam at RR12 by Inoz Restaurant.
⁃ Be respectful of neighbors and do not beach boats or enter their property from the water.
⁃ If boats are raised due to flooding please do not attempt to use them or try to lower them.
They will be returned to use when the flooding risk has passed.

Creek Area

I would recommend bringing river shoes with you as the sides and bottom of the creek is gravel. To get to the creek, follow the gravel path that starts from the front porch...past the fire ring....past three other cottages to the bluff of the creek. Use the stairs to get to the water.
⁃ Cypress Creek is a natural waterway and may have strong currents. All children under the age of 18 must
be accompanied by a Boat House guest when at the creek.
⁃ Swim at your own risk! No lifeguard is provided.
⁃ No glass containers or Styrofoam coolers permitted at the creek.
Kindly remove your trash when you leave the creek area.
⁃ The property across from the Lodge is part of the Cypress Creek Nature Preserve. To do our part in keeping this area pristine, please do not walk along the opposite bank or explore the upper area of the
falls beyond the Lodge property boundary. If you wish to visit the Preserve you may access the walking trail entrance at 109 Old Kyle Road in the town square.
⁃ The upstream Lodge property boundary is clearly marked with cedar posts and rope.
The downstream property boundary is located in the deep water behind the Creek Cottage.
- Please respect our neighbors and their private property.
⁃ Similarly, if you have any difficulties with non-Lodge guests accessing this property via the water or via the Preserve please do advise us so we may be of assistance.

Day Guests
⁃ The Boathouse cottage and the use of Lodge grounds are solely for guests listed on the reservation.
⁃ Day guests are not permitted and will be asked to leave the property immediately.

Neighborhood highlights

Wimberley is one of the many famous, quaint and picturesque Texas Hill Country towns. Our biggest landmark is the Blanco River and the gorgeous rolling hills. It is also known for the endless arts and craft shops, wonderful restaurants and the monthly Market Days held on the first Sat. of every month at the Lions Club Field, when hundreds of booths are set up and vendors and tradesmen come from all over Texas to sell their goodies.
