The Studio Apartment is located on the ground floor and can be accessed via both the front and the back of the building. An open plan living area with a double futon bed, table and 4 chairs gives room to a Double/Twin bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and hanger's hook. From the room, a door opens to a kitchenette with outside access and a very small shower room/toilet. Please note that the kitchenette has a sink, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer but NO cooker or oven. A TV/DVD is also available as well as a large selection of DVDs from the common room.
The studio will give you the benefits of "nearly"self catering accommodation.
The studio sleeps 4. Please bear in mind that the studio sleeping arrangements are all in the same living space and therefore there is no division (not even a curtain) between the bed/s and the sofa bed.
Pets are welcome in the studio but only by prior arrangement.
WHAT IS LORDRYANS?
We are a B&B set in a large Victorian house on four floors where good quality budget accommodation is provided in a cool and relaxed setting.
LordRyans is situated just a couple of minutes walk from Porthmeor beach and the Tate Gallery and not much more to the to the Town centre, this makes it the ideal place to use as a base for exploring St. Ives with its amazing beaches, harbour and narrow streets as well as Cornwall’s rugged coastline, famous gardens and spectacular countryside.
We are within easy reach of the South West Coastal Path and have therefore become quite popular with hikers, walkers and cyclists.
We are also one the very few places in St Ives who welcome children of all ages, sandy surfers and pets.
The studio only
Pets are welcome but only by prior arrangement so please make sure you mention it when requesting a booking.
We absolutely loved the studio, very spacious, beautifully decorated with comfy beds and fully equipped kitchenette. Breakfast was a treat - fresh blueberry pancakes topped with maple syrup amongst everything else - and a lovely host of course who made us feel at home.
There were two of us staying and it was just what we needed. Breakfast was fab. Well situated close to town and beaches. Mariana is a super helpful hostess with the mostest! No better deal for the money.
We had booked the studio for four people – as there is a couch-bed you can sleep with four people there. Staying for some nights it suits – if you plan to stay longer it might be a bit narrow. The house is well situated just a few minutes to the harbour. The breakfast was great and from the window you can see the sea. All in all a nice place!
Mariana is very kind and discreet, always there when you need her...
the apartment is very nice, in a quiet area a short walk from the town center and the sea.
I recommend this stay!
We had a really lovely stay in the studio apartment. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was very handy, as well as having a separate back entrance to our room. The bathroom was very clean and the towels smelled nice! The shower had really great water pressure and got nice and hot. The bed was comfortable. Our host, Mariana is very friendly and helpful. She had delicious breakfast set out every morning in the common room for all the guests.
My only complaints: I wish there had been a TV in our room (there's one in the shared/ common room). This room is on the main level so we could hear other guests coming and going through the front door and up and down the stairs, but that generally wasn't a big problem for us.
A really great studio apartment. Everything you need with an extremley comfortable bed and a quiet room. We spent the weekend surfing, so this apartment was perfect for us as it such a quick walk to the beach!
I would definitely stay here again. The host is very welcoming and has a lot of contacts in the area if you need anything.
A great stay!

I am a friendly, easy going person who loves nothing better than to meet new people, learn new languages and new customs/traditions. After many years of traveling and living in several different countries I have now settled in beautiful St Ives, a place I gladly call home.
I have been managing/creating Lordryans since its "birth" in April 2012. The place has changed dramatically since and will carry on doing so until every detail is just perfect.
